The food was good. Not my favorite pizza but the flavor was good (thicker/fluffy crust). The back sitting area had an odd chemical smell and the bathroom was disgusting. The reason for 3 starts is 2 star facilities, 3 star food, 4 star staff friendliness.

Pizza crust is New York style, thicker, but very tasty. I could always use more cheese…Service was friendly and great.

I like this place because it’s easy, quick, and cheap. The pizza slices are huge (one may even say “fat”), and the veggie one I always get is completely loaded with toppings (so I can convince myself I’m eating vegetables like I’m supposed to). There also aren’t an overwhelming number of options, so as someone who has trouble with decisions I like it because it’s mentally easy. Though it’s not the fanciest place, the atmosphere is casual and conducive to grabbing food while on the go.

Best pizza for the price. Cheap, filling, and easy. The ambiance is like the inside of a frat house party, only it doesn’t smell like natty light. This place is like if pizza was fast food. I love it.

I’ve always loved FAT SLICE PIZZA….But the slices are smaller and the italian sausage I believe is ground turkey now…..or at least that’s what it taste like,… it’s not the same….has the ownership changed? I haven’t been in about 6 years before today but I frequented this spot often then. It wasn’t horrible but it’s definitely not the same as it was.

One giant, greasy, thick slice of pizza is what you will get if you come here. They pretty much ran out of everything when we got there except vegetarian and I was super hungry and didn’t want to wait for something else be made so I just got a slice of vegetarian (if you know me at all is so unlike me) and actually really enjoyed it. It had a mix of your usual veggie pizza topping and even baby corn! Weird, but actually pretty good. I like how the slice was thick (I guess “fat” is what they call it, and that it was a little crispy at the bottom and soft on top. Add some pepper and cheese flakes and It was a good small meal. I had just enough room for dessert which was great.

I took my grandkids there because I used to go to Berkeley High School and after school every day we would walk up to that size and I’ll hang out with a piece of pizza and a soda. Well the pizza tasted good it has shrunk it used to be twice the size it is now. Rather disappointing I wanted my grandkids to see the place I used to hang out and I’ve been telling them for weeks before we went about the size of their Pizza. So it was disappointing when we got there and the pizza slices aren’t as big as they used to be.

If you want cheap, greasy, gaint pizza loaded with toppings this is the place. Very affordable with pizza coming to about $5 for the massive slices. If you dont expect much its awesome value for money, and totally a guilty pleasure for those nostalgic for cheap pepperoni or cheese pizza. The inside of the place is also a trip it looks straight of of the 1980s and that’s a good and bad thing for some. Good for those retro cool points and the aesthetic fits that nostalgic cheap greasy pizza vibe. Yet bad cause some of the tables and chairs are rather worn and look a little dingy. Overall its perfect for the college student on the run that just needs a lot of food that’s already ready and hot for a cheap price.

This place is my go to place for pizza every time I find myself in Berkeley. I’ve had about a million mushroom slices at this place. It cannot be beat. They pile on the mushrooms big time! I always stand at the side counter and people watch while I’m eating there. I’ve had some really odd encounters with people there but mostly a really good time. I remember when they had Lint working the counter there.

I usually love the pizza and service…unfortunately last night I got a slice that was very undercooked(the dough was separating from the toppings, very sticky and cold, etc), so I showed the cashier and she said it was “supposed to be like that”. Raw and doughy??
