Today my husband and I visited this amazing place. The rich smells of the food over took us as we entered. The menu had every soul food item we could think and/or want. By the time we finished ordering we had an Oxtails plate with rice, lima beans, mac and cheese, meatloaf, fried turkey wing and cornbread . On the other plate we had chicken wings, broccoli cheese casserole, collard greens, yams, slaw, cornbread and 1 piece of pork chop. Let me not forget the homemade desserts (lemon and pound cake). As we were waiting on our food we started speaking with the granddaughter of the owner. She was very sweet and delightful. She gave us the history about the family business, which I greatly appreciate. Because she took the time to have that conversation with us. Grandma was there, I love the fact she can manage from her seat. You go grandma. Back to the food, hands down absolutely delicious, amazing and mouthwatering. You should not walk to Food Gallery, you should run to Food Gallery. They will not disappoint you. And the granddaughter was correct the broccoli cheese casserole is exquisite.

So, my Fiancé took me here for the first time yesterday and I was very pleased! I ordered the fried turkey wing, collards, Mac and cheese, rice and gravy. Everything was so good, usually places that claim soul food sometimes will be a hit or miss. I didn’t taste one bad thing on my plate lol the turkey wing was so tender and the collards had that slight sweetness that I love, my mouth watering just thinking about it! You can tell the chefs really take their time and put love in that food! Definitely didn’t disappoint, we will be back! ❤️

So I finally made it to this spot. Someone told me about it a month ago..I had some time to kill today and I was near by. So if you like hole in the wall joints. This is your spot. I love hole in the walls. It was a bit bood. But that is right up my alley. Parking … there is not alot. There are a few spots up front. Some on the sides..but its next to a liquor store. So it can get crowded. I ordered the fried pork chop meal. When I got home. I was very pleased. The yams was delicious. The mac n cheese was good also. And the collards. Everything was on point and I tried the house drink. That waa good alao. I will definitely he back because they got other stuff on the menu to try. And the prices were not too bad. The portions were also pretty decent.

I ordered 3wing meal with Mac & cheese, potatoes salad, and broccoli casserole. I really wasted my money today! I would give zero stars if I could! If you can’t see the wings it is because it was so small it might be under the Mac and cheese!
