This restaurant is beyond amazing! The pupusas are packed full of cheese and filling! I love the browned outside! This place is a gem! The plantains with beans and crema is delicious! I’m unsure of the name of the dessert containing plantain with pudding and raisins BUT wow. It was a family hit. It was so creamy and mind blowing!! This place is a MUST try.

I’ve been patronizing them since they had a stand in McAllen. The food is so delicious and the prices are reasonable. The restaurant is clean. Not the best parking lot but manageable. You can just call them and order your food before you arrive if you’re short on time. All in all it’s a great place

Food is ok but I’ve had better Pupusas. I actually was a bit disappointed because of the rating I thought I’d like them. The curtido is dry and just did not go well with food. Won’t go there again

The absolute best pupusas in the RGV. Flavorful, fresh, and authentic. The beans and cheese, revueltas, and chicharron pupusas are mouth watering. Thrilled to find a place that makes plátanos maduros. 10 out of 10!! Must try!!!

I didn’t even know papusas were a thing until a couple of months ago. Then a couple of coworkers broughts some in to work and I’ve been hooked. We found this place on our trip to the valley and we weren’t disappointed. They’re kinda like gorditas but I think better. They’re different kinds so you will surely find something you like here. They habla very little English, so be prepared to do a lot of pointing at the menu if you don’t know Spanish. I would definitely go back. Mucho delicious.

When I arrived at Pupusas to Go, I immediately felt a calm, at-home atmosphere. A very kind woman came to take our drink order, of which she offered us aguas frescas. We chose the cucumber lemon aguas. They were so full of flavor! Don’t mistake that for sweetness, either. You could taste all the ingredients in it. We ordered Pupusas of Flor de Calabaza con queso, jalapeño con queso, puerco con queso And a tamal de puerco. The pupusas were so fresh, crispy, savory and light. You could easily inhale a few good puposas before you realize it, so watch out! Haha. I had a great experience over all. The gentleman on the counter was very kind and welcoming as well. 5 stars. Go check it out!
