We went here late afternoon. The place was empty but it smelled good from outside. Staff was friendly. Pizza arrived promptly but it was very very greasy. To the point that these cheese was separated from it. Crust was thin and crispy. Not bad flavor but I probably wouldn’t eat here again.

I came into this place with a group of friends after hearing nothing but positive reviews about it. I wish I could say the same about my visit. I am normally not the type to complain but today I was put in a position where I had to. I ordered a deep dish pizza with white sauce, pineapples, and spinach. I did not like my meal at all, this was very upsetting. The seasoning made it crunchy and altered the flavor, it was greasy, and there was an overwhelming amount of spinach on it. (in the photo i had taken off over half of it) I even had a friend try the pizza and they couldn’t bear the taste. I went to the counter to ask for a refund and the person at the register said he couldn’t do anything about it. I could not receive a refund or a remake of my pizza. I’m very disappointed that I’ve wasted $20 on a pizza that I did not eat. I am also disappointed with the service. They do not care about their customers.

Very reasonably priced. My family has been coming here for years!!!! We love the Chicago style deep dish pizza. I personally love their salads and their Italian dressing. They sell it by the bottle and I highly suggest taking some home. This place is a Traverse City classic.

Well unfortunately after years of enjoying great pizza from here today was so different. The previous owners were always overseeing quality and they never put out sub par pizza.The Chicago style pizza they tried to sell us today was an absolute failure .The grease was running off it puddling up in the corner of the box.The amount of grease being so excessive it soaked thru the bottom of the box and stained my car seat.We returned it and got our money back and left the disaster of a pie on the counter. Don’t bother ordering pizza there folks unfortunately this place is not what you expect.

Long wait. Ordered 2 Pizzas. The 16″ Chicago Special was great. The 10″ Traditional Deluxe was not as good. My daughter thought it tasted like Papa John’s pizza. The bottle’s of Black Cherry were really good. This is Take Out Only! But there is a dock next door that was a Great place to sit and eat your pizza. See pictures. Our total was right at $78.00 dollars total.

I am a super picky pizza person so I wasn’t expecting much. This pizza is SO yummy!!! We ordered the 16 inch caprese pizza and a pitcher of soda. It was under $30. We loved every bite but after seeing others around us having the bread sticks, we wished we had those too!! Next time!!

Today, August 5th we got to Paesano’s a couple min after 3pm. We walked in and we were the only ones at the counter and a group of 3 guys had walked in behind us. We were not greeted by any 3 of the employees when we walked in. We had waited almost 5 min and the group of 3 walked out behind us. All 3 employees had looked at my family of 3 multiple times and not once did they say “Hi, Hello, or we will be with you in a min”. So we also walked out and went across the street. We love the food, but the service was horrible today. After today not sure if we want to go back if this is how customers are treated.

Amazing restaurant founded in the 80’s and still family owned. Chances are you’ll be greeted by one of the owners and never even know it. Very friendly and happy environment. My favorite place in Traverse City to visit, be sure to stop in and grab a pizza, sub, or salad. Pizza by the slice sold until 3 everyday.
