The food was very authentic and delicious. It seems to be a popular place but I only had to wait about 5 minutes. I arrived on a Saturday at noon. The noodles were freshly made. There’s also a vegan section on the menu so I felt very accommodated.

My husband enjoyed the Pho Tai. He said that the broth was flavorful with a good portion of beef that is tender. He ate the whole bowl. They give you the side of bean sprouts, basil, ngo gai, lime and jalapeno slices. He liked this pho better than the new place called pho flavor

There is a definite level of taste quality here in Little Saigon vs other places in the country. The competitiveness of restaurants allow only the good ones to survive. SEN has a small menu but the ones available are excellent in smell and taste. The various pho and bun (vermicelli) dishes are all excellent. The Vietnamese coffee is thick and hits the spot. The ice marbled coffee Bac Xiu is special and I have not seen it elsewhere.

Our family dined in for lunch and the wait was not too bad. We were seated in roughly 5-10 minutes. The staffs were pleasant to deal with, giving us time to get situated and look at the menu. They were also following up during our meal too.

Tasty dishes. We ordered Banh Da Cua Hai Phong and Pho Tai. The Banh Da was flavorful, lots of interesting stuff in one bowl. The Pho Tai was actually good. The bowl came with lots of meat, herbs, and fresh Pho noodle.

All the dishes came out fast! I’d say all the dishes were mostly ok and the most memorable dish is the Banh Da. It’s the most flavorful! Lots of meat and seasoning. All other dishes were meh. I do wonder if maybe their food has too much MSG because my mouth did not feel normal after I finished eating. Extra thirsty and numb like! Just beware in case you have sensitivity to MSG.

While the Banh Mi Pate Que are great, they are kind of small like spring rolls. The banh mi strangely lacks vegetables but the pate is creamy and complimented with a sweet sauce. The Bánh Đa Cua Hải Phòng has a nice soup and noodles but the meatballs have a weird sour aftertaste. The Hủ Tiếu Trộn SEN (Khô) tastes just like Indomie’s Mi Goreng! The clear noodles are really great and chewy but the sliced pork also has a weird sour aftertaste. Staff is super nice!
