Large portions and delicious ranch dressing. The burgers were a little dry. The fries were not ask crispy as I like. The onion strings were a good starter. The Mac and cheese is good too. Ok for a first visit but I would choose other options next time.

We came to the stockyards for the first time in 10 years living in DFW. It was extremely busy, but the restaurant was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The food was decent, the Texas twisters circular potato chips and onion strings were great, the BLT was good, and the burgers were OK, a little over cooked, but edible. The staff, ambiance, and patio were the best. We got to watch the cattle drive from the table, luckily the weather was perfect for outdoor dining. It’s a good spot with average food and great service from what we experienced.

Came here for lunch while visiting the Stockyards. Many of the other restaurants had a long wait (45-60 mins), but had a table available for about 10 people right away. Waitress immediately came over to bring the menus and take any drink orders. While deciding on the food, ordered some fried pickles and cheese sticks. For the meals, we ordered the different burgers from the Wrangler, Gaucho, Mushroom Swiss, Herd, Chicken Sandwich, etc…

The burgers were a big hit for my grands. The chicken sandwich was very flavorful all were good size portions. A big thing to add is that the bathrooms were clean. Last, but not least, the wait staff assured thst the customer enjoyed their meal.

The hamburger dishes were phenomenal. Absolutely cooked to perfection. The french fries that came with them were mediocre at best. They reminded me of the frozen or ride a potatoes that my mom used to stick in the oven when I was a child.
