We went last night for the monthly bingo. As always the food, service and atmosphere was phenomenal! Kudos to all the servers and staff that make it happen. The decor this time of year is absolutely gorgeous !

This is a great location for a weddings. The restaurant is located right on the Waccamaw River. There are huge old oak trees with hanging moss right on the edge of the river. This makes for a beautiful location for wedding ceremonies as well as pictures after. There is also plenty of space inside the ballroom for a large dance floor and lots of tables. On the other side of the restaurant is the golf course, so couples can have a large variety of backgrounds for pictures.

Kimbles Sunday brunch is simply outstanding! Great atmosphere to entertain friends & family! Chef creates omelets & waffles on demand. Try the waffles. They are magnificent! Along with very plentiful breakfast items are items such as flounder, turkey pot pie, & great desserts! Highly recommend!

If you are looking for a beautiful outdoor venue for your wedding, look no further than Wachesaw Plantation. Nature is the perfect backdrop, and the incredible live oaks dripping with Spanish moss are breathtaking. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the setting or the excellent service provided by events manager, Brayer Surratt and her team at Kimbel’s Restaurant. From our first meeting, Brayer was easy to work with, communicative, and accommodating. The night of the wedding, every detail came off without a hitch. From the food (incredible–Adam, the chef knows how to pull a menu together) to the wait staff (attentive and friendly) to the sendoff, we were thrilled with it all!

The ultimate Low Country setting with stately giant oaks and Spanish moss. If it’s not too hot the veranda is the best place to take in all that this beautiful setting has to offer. The restaurant itself is VERY quiet. Could use some background music. The service is very friendly and welcoming but can be slow at times. The food is inconsistent and the brunch offerings are lacking.

Do not live near here. They have weddings every weekend and they go until 11pm. They bring in bands and it will shake the entire house. Why would you have a venue within 100 ft of multiple peoples homes who are sleeping? Don’t live here unless you want to feel like you’re living in an apartment downtown Charlotte.

Kimbels was such an amazing experience, I was down for vacation and the view over the water with the balconies was so generous. We also went outside and they had two wood chairs to sit on and watch the boats. The food was great and the setup inside was so nicely shown, big open room with a bunch of tables but it didnt feel crowded.
