LJS has been in the same location for many years. It hasn’t changed much. I go there because I know what the food is going to be like. It’s pretty decent for fast food and the prices are reasonable. My orders are usually correct, although I have had the occasional mistake. Service is good and staff is friendly. I have not eaten inside in quite awhile so I can’t speak about that. I like the shrimp and fish dishes the most. Give it a try.

This place is seriously dated. It really needs a makeover. That being said, the workers try to make it a good experience. They are friendly and helpful. The food is just meh! Fries were good. Hush puppies were tasty, but really dense. The shrimp were delicious, and moist, really nice. The fish was okay. The battered coating was really crunchy and a little toi much so. Overall, tgere are much better places. But I don’t think it is so much their fault. They really try, but tgey need modernization.

Ordered to go. All Bad! Used up all my napkins trying to soak up the grease . Tried taking off the batter to just eat the fish and that was dry. Cole slaw dry , corn hard and tasted like it had been there awhile. Looks like products are still being used past their holding times. Trying to save on food cost I guess. They didn’t give any utensils. Ended up throwing away. What a waste of money. Its happened before but I wanted to give another try. 3 strikes your out! Very disappointed.

The place is old and could really use some updating. They also need to serve filtered water. My cup of ice water tasted horrible like chlorine! The workers were not overly friendly. The food was good.

Slowest service EVER! We were the first people in drive thru, the dine in wasn’t even busy and it still took them over 30 minutes to get our food. After waiting so long an employee finally came to the window to tell us it would be a little longer. I asked what was taking so long and she said there were only two workers. The workers were polite I just wish they would have warned us about the wait in the beginning. Also, they didn’t even give us a fork so we couldn’t eat all of our food. I’m giving them 3 stars because the food was still decent according to my family. I personally didn’t like it. The employees were polite but the wait was long, no fork and not all condiments that we asked for were in the bag. It was probably just a bad day for them.

I’m sorry but I have NO idea how this place is still in business. The food quality is terrible (a 2 out of 5 stars at best) and aside from that there is NEVER anyone there. Like I’m not even joking. There HAS to be some shady stuff happening there cause there is no physical way they have had enough business to stay open for the past 5+ years. Please safe yourself the health risks and avoid this place at all cost.
