It pains me to give this review, but I have to share my experience so the Pizza Man staff won’t make anyone else of a certain race feel excluded. We went to Pizza Man on Friday night and did not get approached by anyone to get our order or offer us anything to drink. We waited about 10 minutes or so. A white couple came in and sat right next to us and was greeted in less than one minute. I was applauded to say the least. I spoke to the manager, Holly, who offered a callus apology and a textbook solution. I told her that I heard in times past about Pizza Man’s treatment of people of a certain race and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, I found the rumor to be true and utterly disappointing. After Holly’s exhausting and calculated apology, we left and went to Balistreri’s on 65th & Bluemound and were treated like gold. We walked in to a hustling and bustling restaurant and still got seated right away. Once we sat down, Becca greeted us in less than 30 seconds. Our experience, food and customer service were so stellar that the tip we left was 100% of the bill. Never under estimate when I come to your restaurant as I will tip above and beyond for good service, delicious food and a grand experience. It’s such a shame that people of a certain race can’t enjoy what Pizza Man has to offer. My experience at Pizza Man signifies that you have an invisible sign and a subliminal message that says “WHITES ONLY”. So unfortunate . . .

Brought a small group in for my son’s birthday. We were immediately welcomed by a young lady who appeared to be the manager. She greeted us warmly and took us to a lovely table on the patio right away. We were all really hungry and ordered several appetizers which were delivered promptly and tasted great! Having been a regular patron of the original pizza man on north, I seem to remember the crust being a little crispier, but the pizza came out hot and fresh, and definitely didn’t skimp on the toppings. We’ll be back and were delighted to see that next time we can dock our boat right at the restaurant. Thanks pizza man!

We sat down outside on a lovely day for dinner. The tables around us were all served and tended to but no one came to help us for about 25-30 minutes after we sat down. We made eye contact with the servers multiple times but no one came! We were confused and went to go tell the host who eventually told a server. We tried to indicate we were pretty hungry but the server blamed the host for not telling them earlier and left it at that. We thought we were getting free garlic bread for the wait but they ended up charging us for it. The burrata salad was good but we just wish we had a better experience.

Placed an order for a single pizza for delivery. Waited an hour and no luck, so we called the delivery service. They told us that the driver was still waiting at the restaurant but would come soon. Another hour goes by and still nothing, so we call again. Driver was still waiting. As it turned out, the kitchen didn’t see our ticket for two hours. Apparently nobody in the restaurant decided it was odd that a driver was waiting for an hour and a half either.

I stumbled upon the very well known Milwaukee pizza joint known as “Pizza Man” . This place exceeded my expectations tonight in more ways than one. It was a full house yet I still received exceptional service in a speedy manner. The food was exceptional including something I had never tried before, “Roman Pizza” . I tried their house margarita Roman pizza and was told it takes 3 days to prepare. This makes sense because it was one of the best pizzas I have ever had! I will definitely be back to Pizza man again this summer for drinks on the patio 🙂

Went on a Friday night, wish we would have reserved an outside table, but didn’t and then when we arrived none were available. Inside ambiance was quite plain, and surprisingly not very crowded. Food is awesome here, the Brussels sprout salad was wonderful! Super great service and the area this location is located is really cool.

Upon my visit to the new Pizza Man on Humboldt, I was immediately impressed by the updated menu that offered a wide range of mouth-watering options. The staff was courteous and attentive, making me feel right at home. The food itself was nothing short of amazing, with fresh ingredients and creative flavor combinations that left me wanting more. The drinks were equally impressive, with unique concoctions that were perfect for sipping on the patio, which boasts a stunning view of the Milwaukee River.

First time at this restaurant as we are not from the area. We ordered the buffalo pizza, which was the worst pizza we have ever had. Crust burnt, no flavor and the shaker of Parmesan cheese was either old or mixed w water cause it was awful. Would definitely think for $27.00 it would be a good pizza. Waited 20 mins for the check as the server was off eating in clear view of our table. Had to ask the hostess if we could pay so we could leave. The only thing nice wax sitting outside by the water.
