This restaurant is amazing and beyond. I was served the best catfish and fries around. The lemonade was perfect. There are so many flavors to choose from and none could ever disappoint. I recommend anyone looking to enjoy a meal cooked with love and experience to stop by.

Couldn’t get in. Website said it opened at 12. Sign on door said 1. Went somewhere else. Will try again another day when they are open for lunch on time. Menu looks very interesting. May 10th: finally went for supper and had the catfish dinner. Two HUGE filets, coated with cornmeal and seasoned with lemon pepper. Some of the best catfish I’ve ever had.

Let me start with the staff that is very welcoming and friendly. I walked in not sure what to order but walked out with not one, not two but 3 different meals to bring home to my family. The fried chicken was fried perfectly! The catfish was clean and could not have been seasoned any more perfect! The jerk chicken Mac and cheese had a kick but with flavor that kept you eating it.

I drive 2 1/2 hours every weekend just to come here. The staff is amazing and words can’t describe just how delicious there food is no matter what you decide to get. I would give 10 stars if I could and don’t get me started on there lemonade, omg! It’s truly a home away from home.

I cannot express how much I love The House! 100,000% recommend! The soul food weekends with the jerk chicken is a personal fav & something I’ve only missed once. The burgers are bomb! They don’t answer the phone and then when you order they take forever and when they friends come in they give them their food first. They get an attitude when you talk about how long it takes. I’m guessing it was the owner she said “this must be your first time here”, so what, it always take 45 mins to a hour for food?

I was told it would take ten minutes for my order and it ended up being 20 then when I took my second bite I started chewing into a piece of a glove from whoever was cooking. When I called to try talking to them about it they refused to talk to me and the gas station attendant was very rude. Please do not go hear! I can only imagine how unsanitary there back of house is
