Best Pizza in the Poconos and no place can top it!!!!! Authentic New York City style pizza!!!!! Eating here brought back so much nostalgia. The crust was thin and crispy! The cheese was perfect- the sauce heavenly!!!! This restaurant is the real deal. As a native New Yorker I certify the authenticity of the pizza here. I am so happy I decided to stop in when I was passing through the area. The meatballs are also made fresh daily and are absolutely delicious! Only the best places carry Boars Head deli meats- and this place has it. If you are in the Pocono area- stop what ever you are doing and stop in! You will not be disappointed! We ordered a pizza. I was not pleased. The flavor was not there for me. It was too stiff and dough like. I can’t describe the texture, but I only ate one piece and didn’t want more. We got a whole pizza too thinking we would eat it. Nope! Sorry

Capri Pizza has been my favorite in the area for years, and was disappointed to hear that owners had to changed. However, after my experience today I can say I’m not anymore! Capri has gotten the revamp it has needed for years and the new owners have done it right, Capris continues to be my favorite in the area and with the new owners it is better then ever. Must have slice!

I read so many comments about how delicious their homemade meatballs were. I live in Cresco and about two weeks ago I picked up the phone and ordered a meatball parmesan sandwich for dinner. Served with lots of cheese which was good but their famous meatballs not so good. The meatballs were burnt as in crusty and dried out too. My sandwich had lots of sauce probably to cover up the burnt meatballs. Really disappointment especially since I live only two minutes away.

Capri is under new ownership… we called and ordered our regular pie. Were not aware of the change until we dropped in to pick up our pie. The new owners are friendly enough, but the pie fell well short of the pie Joe would prepare. Too much sauce, skimpy toppings Joe would really load up on the toppings for roughly the same price
