Decided to try these guys tonight. Went in about 730 on a Saturday night. Wasn’t very busy. The main dining area was clean and cozy. The young man who took my order at the register was very friendly and welcoming. He

I was so disappointed when my husband brought this food home to me. I ordered the chuletas de puerco. The pork chops were cooked so long that I couldn’t cut it with a steak knife. It was so dry almost unable to chew. Not to mention I got two different sized pork chops, one that was about a half-inch thick and another that is about quarter inch. This was my first and most definitely my last time getting food from this restaurant. I guess there really is no such thing as taking pride in one’s company anymore. They get one star because they use recyclable containers for takeout.

We have been going here non-stop since first trying it out. Every time we go, the service is great. The atmosphere is lively, but relaxed a great family-friendly restaurant. For consistency and cost, this has to be my top pick for Hispanic food in the Thornton area.

Food was awful. Beef fajitas was way to chewy round steak was tasting like leather with no flavor. My corn tortillas were stuck together falling apart. Chicken tacos tasted like the chicken was in boiled way too long with a funky taste. Beef smothered burrito was not too bad but the chili tasted a little sour. Last but not least the water tasted gross. Would not recommend.

Food has absolutely no seasoning and poor service. I tried this place many years ago. Thought I’d given them another shot, horrible idea. Service with hostess and cashier poor. They were more worried about there phones than customers. Food had no flavor. No salt no seasoning NO FLAVOR. Salsa tasted like tomato water. Enchilada sauce has no flavor no spice. Tortilla chips tasted like cardboard. Never again. Taco bell taste better. Take it from a brown American who grew up on Mexican food, this is not good.

So the guy manning the bar apparently just ordered me whatever he wanted. Received a totally incorrect order but just decided to rock with it. People next to me kept telling him they wanted a Coors light and he said bud light? No Coors light! Bud light? I guess they are trying to get rid of some bud light. Also a can of Modelo is $6.50!! Talk about price gouging.

The only food item my husband and I eat here is the menudo. It is somewhat tasty and the food portion is okay for the price. I do feel that ownership could invest more in the esthetics of the restaurant. It is very old, the tables are badly worn and the booth seating is severely torn and sunken in. The smell of the restaurant is not very appealing due to the age. Ownership needs to take a little more pride in their establishment.

Great food here. The staff is friendly and ready to make you feel at home. The eggs and chorizo are fantastic and no matter how busy they are, the wait is usually slim to none.
