Popped into this lovely cafe to accomplish some remote work and get a bite to eat at the same time. I was astounded by the exuberance of the staff and quality of the food. 5/5

All gluten-free café?! Yes please. They said they’re looking to add dairy-free items soon as well. Third time visiting today and had orders from friends and family to bring back goodies because they like them so much.

My daughter has celiac disease and it is great to find a place that she can eat anything on the menu. We had several different sandwiches and a couple desserts. Everything was delicious and safe. I would highly recommend 1852 Cafe to anyone looking for a gluten free meal.

Seriously the best gluten-free chocolate chip cookies I have ever had so worth the 40min drive. They have a all gluten-free kitchen and a very friendly staff. They can even make birthday cakes .

This is a fantastic little cafe. The atmosphere is very open, but cozy and rustic. The food is quite surprisingly good for being strictly gluten free. The people are outgoing and friendly. The owners are great people. I will stop in here every chance I get. This would be an awesome dining room to rent for an event, as it’s very spacious. This place is a great addition to downtown Seymour. I love it.

Entirely gluten free kitchen! Just had the maple scone and cinnamon muffin, and there’s lunch options sandwiches and quiche, and of course coffee drinks, inside a used book store. This place is a gem, and Wyeth the 10 minute trip from the highway if youre passing through from Chicago to Asheville.

I seriously love this little place, the food is always excellent (especially love the quiche), and it’s an entirely gluten free establishment! It’s also attached to the cutest local bookstore, The Magic of Books, which creates a super cozy atmosphere!

It was my first time today to visit the 1852 Cafe. Wow, the food was great. I had a spinach quiche and loaded baked potato soup. Both were outstanding. I am saving the yummy Surgar Cream Pie bite for tonight!! I will certainly recommend this to my friends. Can’t wait to try the coffee!!!!
