I ordered a catfish dinner with frog legs everything was cooked perfectly. The cashier was helpful even though the young lady was the only one there she did a great job, letting customers know that she was only one there and it will be a few minutes longer. And yes I will be back again. The service in the food was great.

Absolutely best REAL Catfish and Shrimp In Detroit PERIOD!!! First time going and I thought it was a little pricey at first but when I say it was worth EVERY DIME!!! I mean every Dime. I am a loyal customer for life and they are Black owned! Clean Atmosphere and Young Lady at the counter was very friendly.

I love this place. I go every time I’m in Detroit. They only sale breaded shrimp near me so their battered shrimp is a great change. Run don’t walk to this place. It’s well worth it.

I am from the first time I tried their shrimp when a friend of mine told me about them and then I tried the fish dinner I was hooked nothing like going to a good place where they have good food and the greases always fresh only issue I have is sometimes my fish is overcooked and dry And the fries were like potato chips but I guess everything depends on the cook but for the most part the food is been really good The shrimp are excellent The coleslaw is wonderful I would most definitely recommend this place

Ordered the fish and chips. The batter on the cod was seasoned to perfection. The chips (steak french fries) were hot with a tender center. The Cole slaw is delicious it had a hint of horseradish, which I enjoyed. The portions are enough for two meals and was around $13. This was my first visit, and I’ll definitely be back.

I give this place a TEN out of 5! The customer service was good and the food is AMAZING! I had a pound of shrimp dinner. I ate the food so fast that when I was done, I was looking for more even though I was FULL!!! Shrimp was cooked just right and just delicious!

Man this place is so delicious What makes them a cut above the rest is the extra touch that they do with everything and the fish and fries are always good The grease is never bad It’s amazing how many times I’ve come to this place and have never gotten bad grease like when you go to other places and you have that rancid grease taste We already know that the fried food isn’t good for us but at least when you do. It’s good and not saturated in Grease also it seems like it almost can tell depending on the day of the week when I get my food that there’s a different person cooking the shrimp are always excellent but I know today my fish wasn’t a seasoned as it was earlier this week. My only recommendation would be a bigger container a coleslaw And perhaps for it to be outside of the container where it would remain cold.. keep up the good work!!!

Omg I don’t buy my shrimp from nowhere else but, Detroit shrimp fried extra hard but, tonight May 6th 9:20pm the lady that’s cooking tonight is back there showing up and showing out I triednto call to tell her but, nobody is answering the phone. These shrimp are out cold. Please excuse my verbiage however the taste is so good I went hood lmbo. Great job as always Detroit shrimp Mignon Jackson .
