Since 1978, Potomac Pizza has been one of Maryland’s most delicious and beloved family restaurant favorites! We use the freshest ingredients to create both our traditional and specialty pizzas and we offer a fun and memorable atmosphere that local residents have come to depend on. After taking over the now “Original” Potomac location in 1995, it became apparent to us that our customers loved us and that we needed to expand. We opened our Traville location in 2003 and Chevy Chase in 2006. Our College Park location opened in the Summer of 2017. Our Newest Location in Middle River will open in the Spring of 2020. We look forward to growing with the communities that we proudly serve. We could not do it without our awesome Potomac Pizza fans!

First time in Potomac Pizza. It was clean and once I walked in I was greeted by Ginny who asked if I was dining in or carrying out. I came in with my children and we got seated . After a short discussion we ordered mozzarella sticks and two pizzas ( Cheese and Pepperoni). Only about 3 minutes after ordering our Mozzerlla sticks arrived . The kids who are picky about eating them . Ate all 6 of them and said they lied them. The pizza arrived right after and Ginny who was also our server got my two daughters refills . The pizza was actually really great . Which is an understatement because the kids for the first time ever ate every slice of the large and medium pizza we had purchased . On the way out I asked for a take out menu and 4 more kids menus since the kids spilled sauce from the mozzarella sticks on them. Ginny smiled and handed me a few and the kids were happy. Would recommend this place to anyone who has kids like me!

This is a great place for a quick drink. Ginny is very nice and is one of the best. The food is hit or miss, order a custom pizza otherwise it’s a slice that’s been under a warmer. The only other issue is there is a lack of direction and management. On numerous occasions the bartender is answering phones, running food, and welcoming guests.

The food is almost always good and the atmosphere is great, but only on days that Alex is working. If he were there everyday this would be a five-star review across the board. When he is in, you receive your order promptly and your drinks are refilled before you ask. He provides a superior level of service and runs the show while he is in.

Have ordered pizza and wings from here in the past. Typically good. Ordered a cheesesteak sub today. Most pitiful sub I have ever had. Virtually no meat and was told they don’t put much meat on the subs and they are preportioned and I should opt for the extra meat option. For 12.99 there are far better places that have a real cheesesteak sub. Don’t waste your money.

The pizza is great! The salads are pathetic. A large salad for $11.57 with no meat comes in a tiny container. It’s a real rip off. They do have good food, it’s just a shame they don’t have better salads.

Bad customer service unfortunately. I was told by that I could not sit in the dining area because I had “purchased carry out food”, as well as dine-in food. Upon entering, they have a sign that says seat yourself. I did that, but there must be a misunderstanding here. As a business owner, I would never tell someone they couldn’t sit in a dining area because they did not specify “dining.” However, I did tell the cashier (who seemed new and flustered) that “only the chicken tenders were carry out,” when I placed my order. Perhaps that wasn’t enough to be said. The jalapeno poppers that I had eaten while sitting there uncomfortably were good, but I won’t be returning.

I agree with the comment about the dining in issue. We ordered a carry out pizza and when we walked outside it was so pleasant we decided to sit on the patio (no one else was there) and eat it. A worker at the counter said that was fine and offered us paper plates and napkins. Returned the next time and did the manager told us we couldn’t sit on the patio to eat our pizza-that we could only sit there if we did dine-in. Couldn’t believe he told us we couldn’t sit on the empty patio to enjoy the pizza. No one else was even there. Bad customer service.

Definitely a go to for our company either for lunch or after work. This place is not only convenient, but the food and atmosphere are good and the service is phenomenal. Alex and his team are the best bartenders in a 69-mile radius. If you disagree, come fight me.

The pizza here is ok…a bit soggy though, so nothing to write home about.

Their spinach lasagna is really good. I ordered something different today and wished that I had not. The cheese pizza was dry and tasted a little burned. It looked like it had been sitting out all day in a display case. I ordered a slice of veggies pizza and it was the same dry cheese pizza with a bunch of veggie just piled on top. My family refused to eat it. I ordered a turkey club and it wasn’t toasted like a regular club and it was just a sandwich cut in half not in quarters like a regular turkey club. It barely had mayo (dry) and tasted very plain. I threw it away and ate a salad from subway. I ordered the kids turkey sandwich and it was the same, DRY. No mayo or anything. Just turkey meat stuck between two dry pieces of bread. I know better the next time. Imma just stick to their spinach lasagna and that’s about it. I posted pictures so you can see for yourself how dry the pizza looks. Smh
