Probably one of the top 3 best meals in my life! Well worth the money. We went on our anniversary and the staff was so friendly! The Queens Roast was beyond amazing and just melted in your mouth!

As a frequent single diner, and with many years experience as a bartender in high end establishments, I am fairly critical of the service I receive when dining out. Hats off to Jesse, who had several guests seat simultaneously at opening. He introduced himself, offered cocktails, as was extremely engaging with all the bar guests throughout my time there. His knowledge of the bourbon selection was profound, and he was extremely competent when describing the specials and other menu items. Also briefly met the chef/owner – who is extremely talented as well. Enjoyed the Queens Roast and it was wonderful. Highly recommend this lovely and cozy restaurant.

The food here is amazing! We didn’t have a reservation due to being travelers so Zack kindly sat us at the bar. I had the fish of the day which was Mahi Mahi and let me you guys this fish was cooked to perfection!! My fiance had the Tuscan Chicken with soup and he enjoyed every bite! Zack took really good care of us from start to finish while we were there! He recommended very good meals from the menu, made good drinks, great conversation, and didn’t disappoint- very attentive. Everyone there was very pleasant. I look forward to another visit. Nice meeting you Zack!!

We stumbled across this very special place while staying downtown for one night in Aiken. (Can’t understand why our hotel didn’t recommend it.) The décor is beautiful and cozy. It was packed, but we were able to eat at the bar. We enjoyed chatting with Scott, our bartender and waiter. Our salads were delicious. I got the Caesar, and my friend got “The Whitney”. She raved about it so much I was sorry I didn’t get it! We both ordered crab cakes. Wonderful! My friend had a night cap with something chocolate. Then we got to meet the chef. Scott called her out. She was also most friendly and charming! Hint: these two are the owners and definitely know what they’re doing! We floated away to our B&B down the street. So happy and warm inside. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

First-Timers who say, “everything was perfect here,” and that includes Wendy, who ranks as only #2 in Aiken’s Server Ratings. Cocktails were perfect; appetizers stunning, and steaks and roasts seasoned to perfection. Love this place..!

The Whitney is a neighborhood Gem. The food quality is exceptional, and the staff knowledgeable and friendly. Our meal was perfectly prepared. My wife & I are from Charleston, SC… and we frequent a number of the finest dining establishments. The Whitney rates as high as those establishments. You have got to put The Whitney on your list the next time you are in Aiken, SC. You will not be disappointed.

Overpriced. Too cramped. You have to go through kitchen to get to restroom. No wine/drink menu so you assume prices are compatible with most until we got the bill. One average glass of Reisling was $14. Merlot $16. The meatball linguine was average and so was the salmon. Felt like I was tricked into spending more money on things I didn’t necessarily want. Flight attendant $12. A glass of Prosecco with raspberry liquor. Not so great. Won’t return.
