Absolutely delicious brisket! A little bit on the dry side, but amazing flavour, you can really taste the beef, which typically gets masked by too much smoke at other BBQ places. The fries were pretty great too. The pork ribs however disappointed and would not recommend. Pretty dry and tough. The Hard Eight BBQ sauce however was very very tasty, it helped the dry ribs become eatable. Would definitely return.

So let me start by saying I’m from California and I went on a weekend that was 103 degrees. It was HOT and packed! The food is amazing. No argument there. While waiting to order your meat it’s hot, and dangerous if you’re not careful. The average person would be fine but hold little ones close because there are big hot things going on there! I got the ribs that melted in my mouth and the sausage. Both were great! The jalapeño corn was awesome as well. Unfortunately we had to sit outside and the fans weren’t working. So plan accordingly. It gets really busy and inside spots weren’t easy to come by. I’m already planning what I want to try my next visit and it will be in December, so the heat won’t be a problem. This place is a must, and reasonably priced in my opinion. Lots of choices for sides as well. I wish we had one here!

Hard Eight Pit BBQ is a popular barbecue restaurant located in The Colony, Texas. The restaurant has a spacious interior with a large dining room, a bar area, and a patio. The walls are decorated with Texas-themed artwork, and the tables are covered with checkered tablecloths.

This was a great place to eat! The food was amazing and the service and atmosphere were all on point. My only complaint is that the person working the smoker uses the same utensils for all the different types of meat. I don’t eat pork and it made me cringe when I saw him cutting the beef right after handling the beef brisket.

First time here and the BBQ pits were impressive. So was the spacious seating and the wonderful Warm staff. The ambience is great for a relaxed evening meal. The food was good but has a lot of room for being much better. The brisket was tender but lacked seasoning and the pulled Pork was way too hard. On the other hand, the Rib Eye steak was juicy as it was freshly cooked and so were Ribs. Also, I hate when all the meat is put onto the same tray mixing all the flavours.

First time there and if you can tell from my reviews I’ve been to a lot of bbq places. Food was great. Ordered one of everything to share between us all. Tried all the things. Everything was top notch.

When you first arrive you walk by the pit crew where you will order/get your meats. Then step inside to get bread, other sides, desserts and of course drinks. Pay for your selections, pour your drink and find a seat. The brisket was good. The pulled pork was very good, the sweet potato was tasty. If you are in the area and like BBQ, you should give them a try.

Ribs, fries, sausage all great. Brisket had great pieces but also had some dry/hard ones. Very cool interior and atmosphere.

A must go BBQ. The ordering experience is unique as it is necessary to go through the smoking area were the meat is prepared. The sirloin and briskets where just awesome. Atmosphere is unique and luckily I came a bit ahead of lunchtime. While on the exit there was a long queue starting from the parking lot and waiting to order.
