Food was excellent, great portions and great price for what you get. Our service experience was mediocre. Sat for about 7 minutes before we got menus and asked for our drink selection. Drinks came promptly. Took about 23 minutes before our food came out with our salads that we ordered on the side. Salad dressing was wrong for one salad and notified there was no ranch for the other salad. Correct dressing came out and subsituted italian dressing for one without ranch. We had the chicken fried steak, it was cooked excellent and the mashed potatoes and gravy were the best I’ve had. The salads were also great. We stopped around 3pm on a Saturday. I never got my tea refilled in the hour plus I was there, no waitress came over to ask how our food was or if we needed refills for our drinks. There was a birthday party going on at the time we were there, however no one in that party was ordering food. I will be going back to try some other food there as I like to support mom and pop local shops and foods.

I am so fed up with this place. I have ate here only a few times but they have messed up my order every time. Their food doesn’t have any flavor to it, and the service is awful. Just today I got their French Dip sandwich that came with Au Jus, and they forgot to add it in. I went back up and it nearly took them 20+ minutes to get my Au Jus. The To-Go orders also are not complete. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It was just awful!!

Excellent food, I live in Lincoln, while at Ernies a salesman suggested trying it. It was so good, I have been back once, and may go again today. If you are my age, and ate at Kings in the 60’s, you will want to have their onion rings. The first two times I had onion rings, and the best patty melt I have ever had. They said that cheese and tuna Frenchee are in the near future.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. Over an hour to get food. Special of fish and chips. 1 piece had obviously been refried, chewy tough inedible, other piece was almost all breading. Greasy and gross. AVOID this place.
