After watching so many ads I’ve been wanting to try the Grilled Chicken & Avocado Bowl for quite a while. Finally made it to the Egg & Bird in Cypress, Ca. #1 It’s not fast food so don’t expect to hop in & out. My one bowl took a good 20 minutes to prepare. #2 Although it’s presentation was ok, the picture in the ad makes it look so much better/appetizing. #3 It was tasty but don’t believe I would try again. So, good think it’s only available for a limited time. #4 The young people (3) working the counter seemed overwhelmed – it was lunchtime.

A very shaky start with the inexperienced staff. Just couldn’t get the order right. Good thing we Dined in instead of taking it to go. Had to go back to the counter 3 times to get it right. The young lady working behind the counter was very polite and helpful as we both worked together to get the order corrected. She was trying her best and I appreciated her efforts. Ordered the 2 pc tender combo and the serving could be split between 2 people. The chicken tender is not your typical. They are breast meat that was split so its a lot of tasty tender meat. Seasoned right and juicy. Bread is good, as well as fries. Crack sauce has a light spicy kick. Yum!
