First time in this diner. Came in based on the reviews. My grilled chicken sandwich was delicious and my boyfriend’s grilled ham and cheese was too. Their chips seemed home made. Really good. Plenty of food. The Waitress served all the guests quickly. We love hole in the wall local restaurants and we loved it.

This is a great little diner. Only breakfast and lunch but very friendly and efficient staff. Typically have to wait to be seated but today we went right in and sat down. Definitely worth a visit if you haven’t been.

You can’t beat this place yes it rough and worn but honestly it’s part of the ambiance. Every single time I come in this place the staff are glowing, friendly, and accommodating you definitely don’t find that everywhere. Way cheaper then I-hop and much better tasting!

This place embodies awkwardness. It’s a tiny tiny place, not well kept, and there are like 5 tables. I cant imagine the food being thea. After having been seated, I went to the bathroom and two other people sat at my seat. So I grabbed my keys off their table awkwardly and waited for another table without a word…. So after waiting for another table, the host sat me with a group, and showed complete indifference toward me. So I was polite and said, “Thank you, but I think I’m gonna go somewhere else”. Which was way more awkward than grabbing your keys off someone else’s table.

It’s a local dive spot. If you want good food, service and not pay an arm and a leg….come here. If you want a fancy building and to pay a lot for a little food….go to some city slicker restaurant. This place won’t be for you. The best part is that you can sit with other families and eat with them. Small gem in Charlotte!

Honestly I’m not sure how this place has 4.7 stars. This was my bacon cheeseburger and the upcharge of 3 dollars for about 20 fries. Let’s not mention that the entire building looks to be about ready to fall apart.

This place is a dive in the best sense of the word. No money has been wasted on decor or gravel parking lot, but the diner is clean and they serve as good an American Midwest breakfast as you’ll get anywhere. Service is very quick, staff is very kind. My over medium eggs were perfect, and my hallmark of a great breakfast — country gravy — was delicious and beautifully seasoned with flecks of black pepper. I got right in on a Monday morning about 10am and my breakfast was in front of me in less than 10 minutes. The place was half full and a steady stream of customers kept coming. My guess is that this place is mobbed on weekends. Prices were more than fair. Will definitely be back.
