The food was bland and hardly portrayed a Taqueria’s typical flavor profile on its menu items. We paid in cash and the waitress took the cash and never came back with change, we did not see her in the dining area for nearly 15 minutes. To retrieve change we had to hangout by the cash register until she reappeared and we retrieved our change and tipped based on the service and food. Some locals seemed to really enjoy the bar area. If you enjoy a small talk-to-your-neighbor bar you may enjoy this place, the same bargoers seemed to really enjoy the bacon-wrapped hotdogs as well. In summary we did not enjoy our food or service and the atmosphere was o.k. We will not be returning.

Overall I will come back, the tacos and rice and beans were all good. The chips and salsa were warm and tasty, and the horchata was real good too. I was just hoping that the Piña rellena (refilled pineapple) was going to be better, that was super disappointing there was no flavor it had 0 spices or salts and was bland. Other than that it was all good authentic flavor.

Delicious food! This was my second time here and the service during dinner wasn’t as good as mid day when they were dead but would definitely still recommend because the food is so good. My little complaints – we ran out of salsa and no one checked on us, and I never got a plate to fix my fajitas on so I ended up making them over the piece of tinfoil the tortillas came in. Our waitress disappeared partway through our meal without saying anything so we were never sure who to flag down. Great service to me includes anticipating needs such as a plate to eat from, but I feel like it must have been a silly mistake from someone excited to end their shift and I was too shy to ask for one from the employees who were running around when none of them were “ours”.

Overall pretty run of the mill mexican. Quality was good but my food was cold by the time it hit the table. The taco sauces were bland in comparison to some others that are usually a little more spicy but, not everyone likes super spicy sauces so it was good for what it was. Would go back if I happened to be in the area but for the price I would prefer the taco stand just up the street where it is $2/taco instead of almost $3.50 for one.
