Ernie, his wife and daughter have created an awesome atmosphere to enjoy good food and fellowship. Try the 4 carne asada tacos and drink for 4.99, you cannot beat it. Chips and salsa cooked to order, fresh. My friend, Frank gets the hamburger plate, he loves it. Invest in this local mom & pop gem.

All I can say is WOW! We’ve lived less than a mile away for over 7 months and are just finding this gem now… we tried nearly every meat that you can get on tacos and all of them were amazing!! These are tied for my favorite tacos now and they are probably the most reasonably priced tacos around!! Come try this place out – you won’t be disappointed!

The food at this place is delicious. It has a homemade mexican flavor to its food and the prices are very good. I buy a big asada burrito with all the toppings for $5.99 and it’s really delicious. ( I use to buy my small 10$ super burritos at alfredos and 10$ dried burritos at Sinaloa across the street, never again. ) the 4 tacos and soda for 4.99 are filling and delicious. And the asada sopes for 2.99 are also big and delicious. I’ve taken my friends and neighbors and everyone loves the homemade flavors the food has at La Placitas. I really recommend this place for delicious Mexican food. They say they also filmed the movie FRIDAY on that location.
