Love the food a coworker told about this place seen all the negative reviews about the old man he never gave me a hard time but today was a different story I told him over the phone I will never call his restaurant ever again I’ll take my lunch special money somewhere else I don’t need the disrespect

Fong’s Garden has some of the best food at it’s price point (sub-$10 for most things on the menu as of August 2022) in all of Palm Beach County. In fact, it punches above it’s weight if I’m being completely honest. If you find yourself with 15 minutes of this little hole-in-the-wall restaurant, then by all means, stop by.

The owner Fong sold it close to 10+ years ago and has had 2 owners. The 3rd one, food is okay and affordable for the price. Customer service is extremely spotty.. For the past four year It’s been nonexistent or rude. Service has gone down since Covid started/ended. They have 1 cashier that is an older man but seems to anger quickly. Pretty much had enough and have no interest in supporting this local Chinese restaurant when there’s multiple other choices nearby, and the same distance.

Absolutely fantastic. Ordered on Christmas Day for 4 people. Each packaged meal was carefully placed, I was extremely impressed with the plastic sleeve that goes over each box to help avoid spillage as well as all other items (condiments, utensils, drinks, etc.) carefully placed so that nothing falls over. Everyone loved the food. Flavorful, fresh veggies and was still piping hot by the time it was delivered. I’ve ordered a few times prior to Christmas and the food did not disappoint. Hands down, my favorite Chinese spot.

the beef was spongy. the pork was fatty in some areas and hard in others. the fried rice was almost perfect if they had used slightly more egg and a little bit more onion. the egg rolls were on the money. The saaces were definitely off. The older chinese man at the counter was wonderful if you are intelligent enough to understand him. this was something out of a seinfeld episode. it is a once in a lifetime experience. the menu is limited because he is probably fed up by getting the same order for wings and rice over and over again. People come into his restaurant wanting chinese food but some of the younger patrons have no respect. However, the workers who were having lunch were respectful.

I called to see if they have flavored wings, I asked the guy “ old guy” like all the comments speak about. If they have flavored wings his response was “ we have wings on the menu, does that answer your question” like dude what the heck. I just hang up and decided to spend my money somewhere else.
