Super chic and cozy ambiance with really great hotpot options. Servings are also large and plentiful. The beef party option is served in a unique wooden tray with layers of wood assembling a stair. They have plenty of seatings that large enough for groups but also plenty of seating for small groups with super cozy booths. We chose the Mongolian and Spicy Mala broth. They all tasted fantastic. We also had a mushroom set that are super fresh and plentiful. Overall, we had a really great experience and will highly recommend Shabu Shack. Easy parking as well on the street.

Came with a couple of friends and had a great time! Food was good. We got a couple of different items including the meat platter. 10/10 for presentation however, there wasn’t that much meat. They also charged us extra for condiment trays when we asked for some chili peppers without telling us that it would be an extra charge (since the initial trays were complimentary) so that was a little weird. Overall, I would come back.

Went there for my birthday and had a great experience. The food was excellent, restaurant setting was fabulous and the food presentation was 10/10. My only wish was for a desert menu, which wasn’t available. I would go here for drinks just for the atmosphere.

The place is fancy, but consumers service was poor. Me and my friends ate lunch/hot pot, we found a food fly at our first hot pot soup, the server switched a new one for us. But the 2nd hot pot soup we found more food flies. The server deny those food flies. They claim those are soup herbs. We took a close look stated there flies they had legs and wings. I’m % sure the restaurant didn’t wash their vegetables before serving them to the customers.

Food was great, services was great, alcohol drinks was good, atmosphere very nice and not too loud. Great hotpot places if you don’t want to drive into Boston. A little pricey but it well worth it.

I am happy that there is finally a hotpot place in Northern Massachusetts. This place has a cool interior. Got a good metro vibe to it. The menu is very simple. You order the items you want, like meats, veggies, tofu, etc. There is no combo choices. So expect to spend quite a bit for a complete meal (meat + starch + veggie). You can pick two soups to start, then order what food items to cook (by yourself). Right now they are doing a soft opening. The waitress told me to expect a long wait for the food. I ended up waited for about 45 minutes. Because I read the reviews ahead of time, I was watching YouTube while waiting. It wasn’t too annoying. The quality of meat was good. But I wish there were larger portions. Obviously you can always order more. Overall, I think the experience is positive. But because it is not a all you can eat place, you will need to spend a bit more money if you want to fill your stomach. The waitress was very friendly.

We went during one of their soft opening days and had a great experience. The quality of their meats and vegetables were very high. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The decor was very nice and cozy. Happy to have another local business in town!

The place needs to train the staff, we asked our waiter some basic questions like how long it takes the food to cook since we never experienced this before and she didn’t know what to answer. We decided to take the tower of meat as a recommendation of our waiter expecting that would be enough food for 2. Unfortunately we weren’t have full after and the portions were very small for the price. Also we had to ask her to bring tong, spoon and sauce 10 min after they served the meat. She totally forgot us.

found several bugs from the food they served. Vegetable was not clean throughly, hence bugs came served with our food. The owner accused us for making scene to get free drinks and foods We paid 20% tip to the waitress since she was nice to us and we paid our meal in full.

This by far is the best Hot Pot that I have had period. The photos you see do not disappoint. It’s a classy and polished atmosphere that won’t break the bank. I highly recommend this place for a date. The food doesn’t slack on presentation and tastes even better. Beef is served with dry ice: how about that for dramatic affect? My expectations where blown. If you have never had hot pot, this is a good place to start. The options seem overwhelming, but the choice of seafood, beef or vegetable pots can really narrow that down without taking away for the experience. Something that I have not seen at other hot pot restaurants are shared pots that only require one hot plate. There was less to worry about and the divided pot could hold two broths. This sounds like a small detail, but it can made a big difference in terms of space and efficiency, especially if you are sharing a meal with someone close. My only complaint was that the tables were a little low. Still, the flavor of the beef broth will have you fixated on picking and choosing what you are going to put in your pot next. With all of the positive factors, this was truly hard to notice.
