I’ve been a local resident for 31 years and until last night, had never tried Ruth Chris. My SO and I decided that’s where we would have our date night. Both being first timers. The service was good, our server was a little much on the chatty side. Trying to crack jokes, but they weren’t sticking, saying she didn’t want to talk to much about the place, but then proceeded to do so. I heard they had a lobster Mac and cheese, and I’ve recently become a lobster fanatic in pasta. Being it was Ruth Chris, figured it would be superb. Well, to my amazement, the furthest from that. As seen in other reviews, it has absolutely no taste what so ever. I could have gone to Olive Garden or Carabbas, and got something a lot tastier than that for a third of the price. It’s technically a side but I’m pretty picky and that’s the only thing I would have ate there. It was $15 on the menu, but I guess our waitress forgot to mention, I’m assuming if you make it your meal it goes up to $27. Boyfriend loved his steak, so that saved the meal at least.

An expensive steak house that you go to spend money and have good steak. I go to a lot of steak houses and the food was good but as my grandpa used to say, I’ve had better. But the workers there WORK. The staff AND service made this outing worth it. The desserts were amazing! The tomahawk rib eye… ehhh..if I was paying I would not get again
