This has been one of my favorite restaurants to go to. The Bison steaks are cooked to perfection, beautifully seasoned, and melt in your mouth. The staff are extremely nice and helpful while the atmosphere goes above and beyond. Very wonderful place to go for a nice dinner with family or a romantic evening.

This is kind of outside of town but is really neat. It is the oldest restaurant in Denver and goes hard into the Wild West history. Don’t take a vegetarian or vegan here. There’s guns and taxidermy everywhere and it’s amazing to behold.

Tried Rocky Mountain Oysters from the oldest restaurant in the Greater Denver area. It was an experience but didn’t like the taste of the food much. The server was friendly and we had good conversations. Overall its a must visif once if you are in the Denver area. Been there, done that

I came here over 30 years ago. Now coming back to Denver tried to find this place and did thank God we found it!

Plenty of antique trophy animals hanging on the walls, along with other interesting things. The salad was fantastic. Service and drinks were really good. Did not care for the over charred tone of the steak’s exterior. The duck was very gamey. All in all, it was a fun adult place.

WOW! This is a great slice of ‘Americana’ and a trip back in time. First opened in 1893 and little has changed – part restaurant and part museum! We had the elk and local lamb chops – all cooked perfectly. Our server (Nadia) was great let us take our time to absorb all of the magnificent surroundings. Like the German made white oak bar first built in Germany in 1857 and installed here when it opened. If you are in the Denver area – put this on the ‘must do’ list- you won’t regret it!

Phenomenal place great service. If you’ve never gone I highly recommend definitely check out the bison. Truly amazing the quail spectacular and definitely a cool looking bar upstairs.

Service is excellent, interior decoration is sophisticated. It’s probably a tourist attraction. I ordered buffalo and elk combo which tasted fair at best

Talk about amazing unique experiences. The Rocky mountain oyster and alligator tail was great and crunchy. The quail and Buffalo steak was so juicy. The decor really gives you the outdoor hunter vibe. Definitely worth the experiences and tour.
