This place is a cute retro diner. Although our service was slow and the food average I feel like it’s more of the ambiance of the place that makes you feel right at home. It took us a long time to order and our food took a bit of time too. Nothing to complain about though. We enjoyed our visit. My son got to pick out an animal and really enjoyed the views. I had the pecan strawberry waffle which was pretty good.

Stopped there when in the area for dinner. Food was tasty, portion small for the price . Lots of retro memorabilia but could have used a good cleaning. Service was good . For price we paid for fried chicken and meatloaf dinners the servings could Have been a little more fulfilling or add a soup and salad to the price. Wouldn’t mind going back to try their biscuits and gravy sometime.

Food was delicious, no doubt, place nice and cozy. Me and my husband moved to Batavia 3 years ago and now that we really know we want to stay in Batavia we want to know more people and kind of get involved with the community. But I just gave 2 start on service, just because they made me feel like a theft, my husband paid the bill and I really got distracted with a bolting board to donate and I asked the lady in register about it and everything was fine into I walked out of the restaurant, She literally ran after me just to ask what was wrong, because I didn’t give her a tip, I understand that most people working in restaurant don’t get pay much and leave of tips, but they way she came to me, made me feel like I just got off without paying and the outside tables were full, no one kind of know us around here, so they could think we just walked out. I actually had her tip in my hands, but I just got distracted with the donation board and forgot to give it to her. But my point is that it’s my first time in the restaurant and if is mandatory to give tip, make it clear in the bill and is ok, but if is optional or what about if a customer just have enough to eat??? Still my intention from the beginning was give he a tip, but it looks bad running after a new customer just to practically demand a tip when we had to call her for coffee, she wasn’t really efficient with the service in general to act so money hunger. It’s sad cause I really like the place and the food, actually I told my husband will be nice to go every Friday cause I work nights and is the only day I really see him. But her last action killed

One of the best breakfasts I’ve had in my life!! Real comfort food. Probably not the healthiest thing to eat daily but when you want a cheat meal this is the spot. I had the country fried steak with hash browns, poached eggs bacon and gravy. Would recommend!!

Every time I have been to Daddios diner I have had such a good experience. The owner is incredibly kind and the food is always amazing. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone in the area looking for breakfast or lunch. It’s such a place of comfort to me, and even though I have moved further away, i’ll still make the trip to eat there when I can.
