The food and cocktails at Manna were executed perfectly, only knocking it a star due to the slow service. Seems like the wait staff is stretched a bit thin, causing the delay. The ambience is great and makes a nice place to dine. Give it some time and this will be a great place to eat.

The charred Caesar salad was great for two to share. I’ve never had roasted bone marrow and would recommend it to anyone – it was like butter on toast. The Filet Poêlé was the perfect portion and delicious. Lust of Venus for dessert looked like an artwork. It was so beautiful and delightful.

Manna is a must try! Patio, bar, restaurant just WOW. Beautifully decorated and built out. We had the bone marrow to start and what a treat! Also enjoyed the duck, salmon, chocolate mousse desert, and event he bread and butter is good. Can’t wait to go back! PS the Manhattan Memories drink is a must. Yum!

We had dinner here on a Monday to celebrate an anniversary. Food was great, but like many service industry establishments, Manna suffered from really poor service the night we visited. While the wait staff tried to be attentive, there were too few and too many tables with groups being served. Staff isn’t trained to observe the floor and anticipate client needs… instead they chatted at the bar waiting for a large tables drink order to be filled. What could be an exceptional restaurant is mared by a bad service experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Manna. I have heard others complain about the service but we had no trouble earlier in the evening. Our server in particular (I think her name was Shelly?) took great care of us, made excellent recommendations, and actually improved our dining experience. I loved the way they prepared the ceviche with large pieces of fish, very delicious. My wife had the duck medallions and I had the arrechera which were both phenomenal. Cocktails were fun, unique, and very tasty, but they do get a bit pricey if you plan on having a few. I usually don’t care much for bourbon cocktails, but they one me over with the Wright of Flight and Midnight Memories. Certainly in my top 3 favorite meals since moving to the Dayton area. Can’t wait to come back and try more!
