In years past, we’ve celebrated our anniversary at Grand View’s Italian Gardens restaurant. This year, we discovered that Crust Pizza has taken the place of Italian Gardens. Our waiter, Steve, was fantastic; attentive, funny, and personable despite being busy with more than just our table. We placed an order for the House Salad and Bruschetta Pizza as starters and both were absolutely delicious. For dinner, we chose to order the Crust Deluxe pizza and we weren’t let down. That too, was fabulous. We will be back and we look forward to trying many of their other seemingly tasty offerings. Well done, GV~you didn’t disappoint!

The menu offers a nice selection of family style (sharing) foods. The ambiance was nice and nostalgic in an old builing surrounded by beautiful gardens. The food was very tasty, but its tempurature was a little cool. Perhaps because we ordered lasagne and spaghetti with huge meatballs, which are always, mostly prepared in advance. The hostess was very friendly and maybe little bit too exhuberant. All in all it is a pleasurable experience.

As part of the Lodge I guess it gives the guest an option not to go outside the community, but as a standalone restaurant it doesn’t offer alot of options on their menu. The few options the have though I would say they do a great job with, an the service is very professional.
