First of all they did not have Halal logo, so definitely it’s not a Halal restaurant.Just because it’s a Bengali restaurant doesn’t mean there will be Halal food. We asked one of their employees that is it halal she replied Bengali restaurant means Halal I laughed and asked her if she’s Muslim, because without knowing the facts about what is halal she said it.we had overpriced kacchi biryani $17.99 per order which no where in USA that price meat was also bad .worst customer service ever had. You have to pay dessert items separately which is terrible.again there is no halal logo in the door. I recommend not to eat there until they make sure they buy halal meat and show the proof if you are practicing Muslim or good Muslim. Ask Owners to fix this issue May Allah guide them and help us understand deen and halal and haram meanings. Thanks for reading

I walked into Khalil’s Biryani house in the Bronx for the first time the other day even though I’ve had their food many times before. Their goat biryani and beef tehari was pretty good. Also had their alo parata. Nothing spectacular about their food though. I can’t tell the difference between these Bangladeshi restaurants. For whatever reason Khalil seems to be getting more business and buzz than it’s competitors.

We went there for kacchi Biriyani. They don’t have parking. Their google provided phone was wrong. Kacchi was little cold. Did not find authentic taste. Besides, there was a party going on. More people are gathered than capacity. Their sweet was good though.

The food and desserts are good. The earlier you go the more likely you will be to get everything on the menu, once things like seekh are finished they aren’t replenished until the next day. Evenings are busy most days.

Definitely worth a try. Great Bangladeshi food in bronx, NY and good customer service. Tasted their chicken biryani, kacchi, tehari, beef vuna, paratha, different bhorta.

I usually don’t make negative reviews but unfortunately this time I had to. Firstly, their customer service is way worst than any Bengali restaurant.secondly, Food is not warm up properly, cashiers have attitude, and they were very annoyed while cleaning the table. Mostly in the morning they serve leftovers and sometimes the food got rotten. I have heard that they served leftovers but after having the rotten leftover I am not going back anymore.

Kacchi Biryani was really good! The best biryani we tested after coming from Bangladesh. At the same time, restaurant was clean and the waiter was so friendly, really appreciate their hospitality.

I don’t know if I should talk to the owner or call 311 at this point got $120 worth of food and before we serve it to the guests that’s what we found. I guess it’s the gift from KHALIL BIRYANI.
