I’ve been visiting this place for years. I understand the management has changed over the year. They used to have decent food. But after today’s visit, I think this will be my LAST TIME. First of all, when I went to pick up the food, the cashier was a little boy (no more than 6 or 7 years old) I ordered 2 sweet sour chicken, which was COLD when I opened the container. Rice was hard as stone. I asked for Fried pork dumplings and received HALF-Cooked, boiled ones. The dough is barely cooked and super thick, very very doughy and terrible tasting (dipping sauce all over the place) A large chicken lo-Mein is only half full of the container. The total is almost 50 Dollars, but left us hungry because most of the food was so bad we have to throw it away. Never Again.

First time ordering from this restaurant. Fried rice had a unpleasant taste and was very dry. We ordered the Szechuan Combo with extra chicken, Orange Chicken, Chicken Lo Mein, and egg rolls. There was no “extra” chicken” in the Szechuan that we could determine and it was not even a little spicy. Orange Chicken was too sweet and there was no orange flavor at all – just thick brown sauce. The Lo Mein had thin large ragged pieces of chicken and the sauce bland and watery and not very tasty. Egg rolls were crispy but bland – mostly cabbage. Nothing tasted very fresh. We will continue to search for a quality Chinese food restaurant in Naperville.

This is our go-to place for good, dependable Chinese food. Last night we ordered beef and broccoli, general tso’s chicken, teriyaki chicken sticks, vegetable egg rolls, plain lo mein, and white rice. All of it was very delicious, properly cooked, and reasonably priced. The food was ready for pickup about 25 min after ordering online.

The first time we ordered from this place it was amazing but the last few times! Like seriously come on! Today we ordered chicken fried rice, and it came in a cup. We ordered orange chicken and general tso chicken, we got two large orders of orange chicken! We are so confused and annoyed!

Ordered pot stickers and Orange Chicken. The chicken was good, not great. The pot stickers were just ok, have had much better at similar places. 3 stars because dinner prices are high. Don’t know if they have any lunch specials.

If I order a small entrée I get a small rice….If I order a large entrée I get a small rice… you have to buy extra rice? This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. Common sense says large entrée = lg rice, small entrée = sm rice. I shouldn’t have to buy extra rice to have enough to eat the food. I have ordered from this place for 10 years and in the last couple of years it has really gone down in food quality and portion size. We used to always have rice left over and now not enough rice to eat the food. Im ordering $70 worth of food and I have to pay extra for enough rice to eat with it?

I’ve ordered from China Kitchen for years. It’s a small family owned business that serves very tasty food at very reasonable prices. I’ve seen recent reviews saying that the quality has dropped. We ordered dinner last night, and everything was wonderful.
