Decided to try a new restaurant today and I popped by here. The Chinese food here is very savory and authentic. My favourite was the Bao. The waiter is very friendly. It’s not crowded at all and I think this is a hidden gem restaurant in the area.

They serve authentic Chinese food. Staffs are very friendly and welcoming. Take one star off because some dishes are salty. Good thing is you can require less salt for most dishes.

Good service, clean restaurant! Food was flavorful and tasty, what I want/expect from fast Chinese. The eggplant with garlic sauce was delish.

Authentic Chinese foods! Less greasy than other places for sure. Excellent flavor profiles! The mapo tofu is just so well layered, it’s a really good bite! Lomein noodles are nicely textured. Orange and Tso chicken actually have meat in it! Kungpao chicken is so nice and spicy. Chinese bacon is so delicious and the spicy eggplants are the best I’ve had. Such a good flavor profile. The people are very sweet! Ive been going here for years. Their prices have stayed the same throughout covid while other places jacked up theirs. They didn’t used to be on delivery apps but now they are and their prices still say the same too. Such a gem! Please go and support this local joint!

The roasted duck is not fresh. The gravy of noodles is too salty and it is not authentic Chinese taste. We ordered a lot but they were all disappointing……

If you’re looking for Orange Chicken or Beef with Broccoli, this restaurant is probably not the place for you. Expect authentic Chinese dishes from the Nanjing area, which has a style of its own.

So glad I found this place, such amazing Huaiyang style Chinese food, with some Sichuan dishes as well. Not your typical American Chinese joint.
