Sad to see Pearl Garden go, but this new place is a solid gem. Visited twice in a week speaks for itself. The map tofu is legit spicy and very flavorful. The honey walnut shrimp is perfectly crispy and almost tempura like. The cold noodle is refreshing and addicting.

This restaurant is definitely one of my go-to places for Asian food, the flavors are truly delicious. Everything I have tried has definitely hit the spot from all their vegetarian dishes to the twice-cooked pork, definitely will be back for a couple more rounds because I cannot get enough of this restaurant. I definitely recommend this place, for yourself and or bring friends cause you won’t regret trying this restaurant.

This restaurant changed ownership in 2022-11 and then slightly renamed by appending “喜川”. The new restaurant food and staff are excellent. The flavors are bold, spicy, and excellent. We greatly enjoyed their mapo tofu, pancake with beef, sliced beef with pickled vegetables broth, and their seasonal pea sprouts stir fried with garlic. There’s so much of the menu we haven’t tried yet, looking forward to returning here.
