The food was ok but the order was incorrect. Was shorted one item and another was not what we had asked for. Called them and the lady was aggressive and said we got what we asked for. I hung up and said it’s just not worth it.

I’m from Ny and the food here is excellent. This is one of my two favorite Chinese places. If I go up that way I always stop and get a pork egg foo young. I come all the way from South Venice it’s well worth the trip. I’ve noticed you have eggplant and garlic which is hard to find on menus. I’m extremely excited to try it out. I also saw they offer some really good looking fresh ramen soup bowls. Everything I’ve tried from here is delicious. The inside is completely redone and 100% clean. The girl who takes the orders is extremely friendly and delightful. That’s very rare these days!! Thanks again!! Chef’s kiss

I was excited to have a choice in Osprey. The young lady took my $125 order perfectly. We rec’d the complete order. Some of the food was decent. Other choices were bland. The chix stix were dry. Hope they improve. The Bee Ridge/41 location is awesome.

I think I am going to stop cooking and just get take-out from China Taste from now on! It’s tasty, healthy, and not expensive. I like the simple but delicious dishes like beef or chicken with mixed vegetables. A quart size serving is easily two meals. I am an RN and I thought the kitchen appeared very clean and the staff is very nice. The dishes I mention are not greasy or heavy, and very flavorful without being spicy. I would like to see brown rice added as an option.

All the vegetables were tasted old with a very tough consistency, all of my orange chicken was overcooked and for some reason they put a cinnamon flavor in the shrimp rolls. Additionally, all the sticky white rice was old as well with a terrible flavor. Cost 70$ just for me to get below mediocre food that was probably frozen for days. To further justify that statement, it took them 5 minutes to cook several different meals which is impossible.

Really enjoyed my takeout this evening. Good egg drop soup. I can tell when a restaraunt is decent when the egg noodles that come with the soup are crunchy. These were very good. Also liked the chicken fried rice. Seasoned nicely and plenty of chicken. All in all a very good and quick meal after a long day at work.

10/10 would recommend. Not only is the food phenomenal but the staff is amazing. After Grubhub didn’t have any drivers, China Taste of Osprey went above and beyond to deliver my food on their own. Such a great company, I’ll definitely be ordering from here again!
