Freddie double cheese steak burger was tasty however pickles, mustard and raw onion that are stock (you can opt out for them) left me hungry for more. Steak burger meat was extra thin like paper so glad I ordered the double patties. Also tried the vanilla frozen custard and it was good. Tip: download the Freddie app in advance so that you get credit for all purchases to earn steakburger or a concrete.

Different. The fries are shoestring, I prefer the larger fries. However they were crisp and tasted fresh. The burger had a soft bun, I liked the full slices of pickle. The meat patty looks to be hand made. The staff is friendly. Overall, excellent.

I thought it was great! I kept my expectations low because everyone was complaining that the burgers were too thin and salty. It IS a salty burger, but I personally like that. It has a delicious gristly edge that is thin. The burger is a decent size. It’s not skimpy. Keep it mind, it is a steak burger so they’re supposed to be thinner. Think Steak and Shake but better. The shoe string fries are salty and have a hint of garlic in them. I couldn’t stop eating it! The custard is buttery and not overly sweet. Perfectly balanced in my opinion. I’m pleasantly surprised. I finished it about 15 minutes ago and I can’t stop thinking about it. Definitely check it out if you’re looking to fulfill your umami craving!

This was my first time going to a Freddy’s and it was very good! Love the shoe string french fries and the steak burgers are delicious. My mom had the patty melt which she enjoyed and my dad had the veggie burger and was very pleased with it. Staff is very polite!!! Will definitely come back.

This review is a little conflicting for me as I understand they just opened a few days ago and are still ironing out the kinks with the staff. I ordered there chili cheese dog combo. When I got to the car I opened the bag and noticed there was only chili on the hotdog without any cheese or onions. So I walk back in and show them and they put the toppings that were suppose to come with it onto my chili and cheese hotdog. I walk back to the car in the rain and decided to take a bite out of it and the actually hotdog was cold. Feeling frustrated and angry I did not go back inside again to complain about it but I could not eat that and feel like I wasted $9.29 on a chilli and cheese hot dog that was not big enough to even justice that price. Again, I understand they just opened and I can even understand them forgetting putting all the toppings on a chilli and cheese hotdog but what I can’t do is let them off the hook for serving me an uncooked or cold hotdog that I didn’t even get the chance to eat or enjoy. There should never be an excuse for serving your paying customers food that is either cold or not cooked/warm all the way. I gave them a try to support them since I also live in the Avon area but not sure if I will return again after my experience.

I’ve been there a few times this summer with my family since it opened, and it’s pretty good. I got a burger and fries similar to what I’ve gotten in the past at a Steak-N-Shake; no preference on the burger, but Freddie’s fries are better. I think it was a little pricier than something comparable at SNS, but it’s been a few years since I ate at one. My kids said they liked the cheese curds, but would rather have the ones from Culver’s.

This is a modest opinion of my overall experience today I purchased 2 bbq pretzel steakburgers and 2 double steakburgers, 2 onion rings and 1 large fry with 2 sweet teas….to start off the bbq pretzel steakburgers were underseasoned, lacking so much potential with no bbq flavor once so ever. The Frenchfrys were pitiful they reminded me of those old fashioned shoe string potato chips in the can but lacked bite, as well as taste(honestly they tasted as though I was biting into a fish sandwich “possible grease issue”). The regular double steakburgers were flavorful, delicious and fulfilling….perfectly seasoned. The onion rings were crisp and tasted well off for an onion ring. The sweet teas tasted water downed unfortunately. On to the condiments the Fry Sauce(Jalapeno & Regular ) were both bland, tasteless with no true flavor no tanginess, citrus notes or even sweetness of any sort. Overall I spent $45 on a okay experience I would recommend you the viewer to stick to the original steakburgers but stay away from the special as well as the frys…..best of luck to both the corporation as well as the consumer.
