Our family of four visited on a Sunday evening when many other local restaurants are closed. The only disappointing thing is they say have dining in available. They have a very small area where you can eat on-site indoors. There are some tables outside.

These tacos were bomb diggity. Growing up in Phoenix, AZ, I’ve become accustomed to really good Mexican food all over the place. As we’ve traveled the US full time (18 months so far in @Ramona_The_Airstream !), we’ve found that real good tacos are just not a thing when you don’t live in a border state, especially not so on the east coast. But my goodness, Lalo’s is legit!!! These tacos were so dang delicious I came back the next day for more and brought others with me. The asada is delicious, the brisket…maaa goodness.. and the fish tacos were really good too. Get there and get a taco in yo mouth!

This was our first time visiting and look no farther if you want some flavor and authenticity. Originally, we came to eat at the neighboring establishment that won best on TripAdvisor. But this is the new Winner and upcoming go to place. Really! Don’t waste your time waiting. So go while the lines are shorter and the service is fast. We had nachos and the portion was huge. The combination of ingredients was perfect with a very generous choice of meat. Also the Mexican sandwiches were so delicious. I saved the other half of mine and ate it for dinner since it was really big and loaded. Burrito was huge as well and had everything you will want in it. Very tasty and prices are fair. While we were dinning in, it seemed that many orders were coming in for pick up as the dinning area is very small inside. Either way, we had an extremely pleasant experience with wonderful caring staff. Huge thanks!

Fantastic tacos – fish, lengua and champechano were superb. Pizza was remarkably good as well. Surprisingly good for an authentic Mexican restaurant. Crust was spot on, toppings and sauce very good. Certainly has the authentic Taco stand atmosphere- food is priority over facility.

The best street tacos around! Authentic and delicious. So glad we stopped in. Not much seating inside but there are a few tables inside and outside. The women taking orders were very friendly and helpful. So happy we found this spot.

This was okay. None of us had the fish tacos, which it seems is the thing to get here. My husband and I both got the fish sandwich though and neither of us enjoyed it. The bun was hard and the fish coating wasn’t our favorite (corn meal? Not sure, but not the light, fried, crispy batter we were hoping for.) We ended up removing the bun but the fish on it’s own wasn’t very edible either.

Cute ma and pa shop in buxton. We stopped for lunch and had chicken and pork tacos, as well as their funnel fries. The staff were very friendly and their prices were great for being located in OBX. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a nice “quick” Mexican bite while still having fresh food.
