First time trying slim chickens. Just drove past, didn’t even know it was there so we stopped. Inside was very clean and inviting. Employees were friendly and knowledgable about the menu. The food came out quick! Definitely better than Popeyes or chic filet. Had the Nashville hot chicken and fries and my wife had the three piece chicken and Mac and cheese. Both very good for fast food chicken. If yoy see this place it’s a definate stop!

Don’t usually review fast food franchises but Slim Chickens is worth the visit. Very tasty fried chicken and sides. I had the Slim Chicken basket, and my wife had the Smokey Cheddar Wrap. Portions were more than enough, almost had to get a to go box. Almost. Plus you don’t feel like you ate a ball of grease. 10 for 10, will be making return visits.

Yum! Stopped by for a quick lunch. I absolutely love their fried pickles. Tried a Slim Smokey Cheddar Wrap and some coleslaw. All were excellent! My husband especially loves the jar desserts – I love that they’re glass jars, too. The desserts stay colder and are an eco-friendly touch.

We had the fried pickles and Slim’s chicken tender meals. Our food was served within 15 minutes of ordering, and it was served hot. Tyler, the employee who took our order, also went around and cleaned tables and asked how our food was. He was very friendly! My only criticism would be that the chicken and pickles were on the salty side, and the three sauces I tried didn’t wow me. Food and service were both overall good, and we will return!

Service was excellent and food went above and beyond! Specifically, the chicken strips in my eyes have now dethroned my long time champ, Canes. These were seasoned to perfection and as juicy as any Chick Fil A sandwhich (this is top tier level). The wings were about what I’d expect, they’re okay and a good way to sample sauces, but I’ll probably stick to the strips from now on. The Texas toast tasted great but felt like it might have been left out a bit long. The slim sauce tastes like if canes sauce and chick Fil a sauce had a beautiful baby that’s just perfect and the sweet chili sauce brought me back to my favorite hometown wing bar that had homemade sweet chili. I think with the variety of sauces and food options they’ve positioned themselves very well for success. Keep up the good work!

Arrived about 2 pm. Ordered at the counter, no wait. Chicken sandwich, coleslaw ,soda and $11.00 . Had an unusual wait considering I was the only customer. Gave them some slack being new and building a crew. Was asked twice if they could refill my beverage and if all was good. Sandwich was tasty, however was on the same side. Similar bun size to a McDonald’s single patti hamburger. Not sure if I would go out of my way for this place, will try different menu item.

I went on opening day and back again later that week. First time having Slim Chickens and I loved it, I’m hooked. These are the best chicken sandwiches that I’ve had, and I’ve had many across from fast food chains across the country. Far better than Raising Cane’s, KFC, and Popeyes. I tried both the regular Crispy Chicken Sandwich and the Buffalo Ranch Sandwich (see photo). BOTH SUPERB. The chicken tenders and breasts are very tender and juicy, cooked to perfection. They do not need any sauce, and I say that as I Sauce is the Boss kind of guy. Great service and quality food. Well worth the wait. Anyone who gives this place less than a five star review clearly doesn’t know what they’re talking about.
