We were happy to see a Caribbean restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga. We came in on a Sunday afternoon. We placed an order to go. We waited an hour for our food to come out without anyone offering water or an update on when our food would be done. The food was horrible you can tell everything was previously frozen. The brown stew chicken was all bones and my son couldn’t eat it because it was too dangerous with all the broken bones. The jerk chicken was three legs and they were dry and lacked flavor. The side of vegetables was for a baby they weren’t a full order. I’m not sure why everything took so long being that it was only two other people in there eating. I usually give a place a second chance but not this one. We threw everything away and I had to cook us dinner. What a waste of 88 dollars.

Immediately we were greeted with kindness upon walking in the door. The restaurant is clean and very pretty. As for the food we ordered jerk chicken and oxtails which were good. However, I wish I had looked at pictures before because I was a little shocked with the meat portions being smaller than I’m used to for Caribbean cuisine. As far as the sides the cabbage was good. Surprisingly the white rice was better than the rice and peas which was a little dry that day, but better with the oxtail gravy. The only miss was the mac and cheese which just had an odd taste and wasn’t cheesy throughout just on top. Overall, it was a good experience and I would try this place again.

Had the bacon cheese burger. I was hoping for an amazing experience. It took 30+ min for two people no one was in the restaurant. Patty is a frozen patty. Will never go here again and telling my buddies don’t try this spot.

Well understand that you are coming to Jamaican restaurant everything here made fresh and takes a little longer. Food is bomb. Tasteful and fresh. Man who served us is polite with a smile. I enjoy eating here. I always go by what you put out is what you receive. I drive here 30 miles to enjoy this food and experience. I love it here

I ordered the Stewed Chicken. The first few bites exploded on my tongue with delicious caribbean flavor! You know, so good you close your eyes. Yeah, that good! Owner was very friendly and food was hot, fresh and plenty. I will definitely be going back and I highly recommend. 5 Star for sure.

I went to Di Palms after passing through, and as I was going inside, everyone walking out had the most amazing smelling food. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries, because I was feeling it and it was the best I’ve had in California. When I go back I have to try there namesake, because if the burger was that good I can imagine the actual Caribbean food.

Very disappointed. Went for a birthday celebration but the food was just okay and took forever. The timing of the food was way off. The people in our party all got their food at different times. We had one person who ordered the red snapper fish and was the last to receive his food. When it did arrive the rice and peas was burnt. The restaurant was practically empty and still the service was slow. The wings were okay but not authentic jerk just a jerk barbecue sauce over them. Very disappointing experience. Unfortunately, will not be patronizing again. When we brought up our dissatisfaction to the waitress we were told that dishes can take from 30-45 minutes to prepare. Not necessary for this type of food certainly doesn’t take a take out Carribean/West Indian place that long to prepare food that in my opinion tastes better. They were welcoming at least when we came in.

This place was a fantastic random find and one that we are glad we tried. Great atmosphere with a friendly server. The food is very tasty and reasonably priced. We tried the Jerked Chicken and the Brown Stew Chicken. Both dishes come with one starch and one vegetable choice when you order medium and it was plenty of food…we took some home. We will be back to try some of their other dishes. They do not sell alcoholic beverages but that was not a problem for us. When the food is good you don’t need to drown your taste buds.
