First time going.. and it was perfect! No line, no rush, the cashier was friendly and knowledgeable of what to order! I got the turkey club and kettle chips. The sandwich was well put together and made with love! And they are mini shopping mart! Love it! Definitely will be back!

I was in the neighborhood and saw this spot and thought it looked like a great local deli to try out. The place looked really nice inside and out. When I approached the counter the young man working was doing something and didn’t acknowledge me for almost a minute even though he was fading me. I wasn’t sure if I was in the wrong spot to order or what. Once he acknowledged me, he wasn’t rude or anything, but also didn’t have a very personable demeanor.

I live next door to this place and really want to like it. The ambiance is nice and the staff is friendly. However, the sandwiches are just decent and don’t have nearly enough meat for the price you pay (around $13). I still find myself hungry after eating a whole sandwich. Not to mention you will usually have to wait 10-15 minutes after ordering for them to make the sandwich. I’ve tried it multiple times now and I think I’ve finally given up hope.

Bennett’s is the saddest excuse for a sandwich shop I’ve ever experienced. I live in the neighborhood and really want it to be good. After 5 tries, I’m done. The food is beyond mediocre- cheap ingredients, thoughtless preparations, stale bread. The service is awful, too. You could probably get better food delivered in less time than it takes them to assemble a simple sandwich. And this new location is somehow worse than the first. I truly don’t understand how this place stays open. You’re better off going to one of the chains.

They have a good turkey club, but they are badly managed based on my experience today. I waited for 45m thus far for a turkey club sandwich, while employees are off doing a photo or video shoot. Someone from door dash came in to pick up a customer order, and they didn’t “see” it. I’m still waiting and thinking it may be a long time before I return, which is unfortunate because I live down the street and used to come here a lot. But I don’t have time to wait 45m for a $15 sandwich. They forgot my chips and made the sandwich weird, unlike any of the past ones I’d gotten.

Was a bit surprised when I drove past their old location (that I was originally familiar with), on my way to their new location.

Nice little neighborhood deli with great food and a helpful staff. Tucked away in Grant Park, it’s a neat little place with a few places to sit and eat both indoors and outdoors. Really nice selection to choose from with decent sized portions. Fresh ingredients and plenty of options will have something for everyone, even picky eaters.

I made an order online for myself and 3 co-workers. When I came to the restaurant to pick up, the door was locked and no one was answering the phone. I saw a couple of people inside so I knocked on the door and another customer let me in. There was only one employee working because no other employees showed up. I did however receive my order but unfortunately, there was a piece of metal wire in the pastrami sandwich. In addition, the tomato basil soup was cold and the bacon in the bacon grilled cheese was undercooked. I will not be going back.

So awesome to have this place in our neighborhood. My teen loves the classic Reuben. I like the pimento cheese and bacon sandwich and the veggie sandwich. They have great wine, beer and ciders to choose from. King of Pops on hand to grab. Stop in and grab a bagel to go.
