It is so nice to have good Italian food in the area again! The eggplant rollatini was fantastic, and the seafood alfredo was as well. You can tell the alfredo was made in house, and it was genuinely delicious. The wine options pair well with the entrees, and it was perfect to be able to do a flight of three wines to try different reds and whites without a preselected listing. We will absolutely be back!

A staple in Salisbury serving the forever loved dishes of the original La Roma with some new tasty additions! The food is amazing! Best Italian hands down!!!!

Happy to have this gem back with a Joe twist!! We enjoyed drinks from their cocktail menu, at the bar, while we waited for a table. Everything was perfect. Can’t wait to work our way through the entire menu both food a drink!

Last night, I tried the Veal Marsala. It was the tenderest, most delicious veal I have ever had. On my previous visit, I had the Veal Saltimbocca. So good! The Zeppole (fried dough with cannoli cream filling) was an excellent dessert.

What a great addition to the restaurant choices in the area. It’s a small space with big style, combining NYC photos with hand painted scenes of Sicily, comfortable stylish chairs and a small full service bar. The service is friendly yet professional

Food was just OK…the bread is prebaked and then warmed up and toasted when you order it..the crust was really hard and the bread crumbled when I tried to break of a piece..definitely not a sign of fresh bread.. the marinara lacked flavor, not enough basil or garlic..maybe this is a different style of marinara but I like a more garlicky basily marinara. Salad was basic. I got the manicotti which was really good..can’t go wrong when you fill a pasta shell with ricotta and then cover the whole thing in cheese..we also got the chicken piccata which was $20 for a piece of chicken and no pasta!! All in all it was disappointing experience! Will not be going back..

It was with supreme happiness that we heard that La Roma was back(!) with Vinnie’s son Joe as owner and chef. As good a chef as Vinnie is, Joe may actually have learned from the very best and has turned out to be at the peak. I always thought that Vinnie’s veal saltimbocca was unbeatable but Joe’s version has added notes of lemon with all the warmth of the expected sage. Go, Joe. I can’t wait to try his Eggplant Parmigiano since his Dad’s was the very best where he gained from his experience in NYC. Book early as space and reservations are severely limited at this time. Don’t miss the experience.
