Solid food at a good price given other Bend options. The servings are generous. To be clear, this is a diner so do not expect fine cuisine. It is sold comfort food.

This is a great little diner with a very nostalgic feel, good food, and great service! The staff were very nice and coffee and water refills were on the spot! Food prices are reasonable here and the menu options are ample. A+++.

I wish I was able to try the food. I was visiting Bend from out of the area and this restaurant had great reviews and wanted to try. Due to mobility issues, we always do takeout. I called the restaurant and got a busy signal for over ten minutes, when we arrived I was going to go inside to order, but when I got to the door, there was a sign on the door, no to-go orders. They could have posted on their Facebook page, or a message on the phone rather than a busy signal that they don’t accept take out orders. It wasted too much of my time, but fortunately, McKay Cottage was able to accommodate and provided a great breakfast to go.

The ladies working the diner were transported from a time and place where polite, prompt service was the norm. A place where your cup of coffee never gets empty and you only need a few bucks to have a quality meal. Pictured with coffee was 11 dollars. Small Eggs Benny (sub the ham with grilled onions and mushrooms) absolutely exquisite

Food and service were good and we would recommend to others. Only downside was the price for what you get. I would rate as $$$. The waffle was very lite and fluffy, sausage patty had good flavor, but was a little small compared to many others I have eaten elsewhere.

Average pricing, long wait even with two waitresses in a very small diner.
