I got 2 Chimichangas one beef and one chicken. They were so big they filled the plate And very good! Service was excellent. The chef even visited tables to see how everyone was doing. Clean and nice atmosphere. Highly recommend Mexican food I added the dessert we had Yum

Everyone was very nice. The service was wonderful. Great atmosphere, very cozy (good place to go for a date night. The food is more tex mex than actually Mexican and a little on the blander side but that’s usually what most people want and not something really spicy. The queso was very good.( most places get this wrong and make a spicy queso instead of it being something nice to cut through the spice, so I really appreciated their preparation )We got one of the lunch specials (the quesadilla and enchilada combo as well as the chicken taquitos with the queso cheese sauce. It was very affordable and the portions were very generous. Their Margaritas were also tasty. We will definitely go again.

Good Tex-Mex in a comfy dive bar setting. The ground beef tastes like it was brined or marinated; very flavorful, and I don’t usually go for ground beef. Chips and salsa (hot and mild), and chile releno were also excellent.

My entire life it has been difficult to find options for authentic Mexican cuisine around here apart from Garcia’s. I am so glad Los Lagos is here! I ordered ahead online and my order was ready on time, was super hot and delicious, and the portions were very generous! I wish I could post photos but we ate everything before I had the chance. There is really something for everyone and the quality is not compromised. 10/10 recommend Thank you for excellent service!

Los Lagos definitely helps diversify food options in downtown Cortland. Food is good for what is offered at the price point, and the staff are awesome. They definitely deserve a larger location, but being so close to the municipal parking definitely makes up for the size of the restaurant. Ordered to go a few times and quality is the same as if you were eating in. Highly recommend if looking for a Garcia’s substitute!
