Went here Friday night in late February. Initially it was just us. We were 5 people including children. Service was as expected. Food was delicious. But it was some what pricey for the area, service and food it came with. They had a lot of to go orders, thats what I noticed. Overall I would say deserves 4.1/5 stars mainly due to the price tab. But definitely give it a try.

WOW… They have awesome Vietnamese food. Yes, they are pricey but the flavor of the food and the quality is up to par. This is my 2nd time eating here and It didn’t disappoint me. Definitely try the crab Rangoons they have real crab Not kani. The pad Thai was solid and tasty. The dish with chicken-ginger-and veggies was delicious. This is a treat yourself restaurant. It’s not fancy per se on the inside but you can tell they cook with pride!

I dont know if it’s always empty like this but it was 3pm on a Wednesday, but completely empty. I was really really hoping to love the dish I ordered because I wanted to help rave so the owner would have more business. Sadly, the pad kee mao I ordered wasn’t very good. The flavor was somewhat a creamy tomato sauce and the noodles were bloated and didn’t have the right texture. It just didnt taste right. I asked for a small bowl of white rice to maybe help balance the heavy sauce but the rice was super dry. I had to remove some top parts and it was hard to swallow. I probably won’t be coming back sadly. The owner is super nice and the business is family owned. It wasn’t good for me but maybe it will be good for someone else.

I was in the mood for a noodle dish so ordered the Pad Si Ew via DoorDash. The two protein options on DD were ‘chicken/pork’ and ‘shrimp/squid’. It was unclear to me if the / meant I would get one or both, but I went with the latter since I like seafood. Turned out to be shrimp only, which I was totally fine with. Especially since it came with seven jumbo shrimp. The noodles were also wonderfully chewy, and I’m happy to report that Siam Garden sated my craving.

This was a bit disappointing to say the least. Let me start by saying they seem to be understaffed, which is understandable due to the current climate. We ordered pickup through UberEats at around 6:45 PM on a Sunday. We arrived at 7:10 and the app stated that our order was ready for pickup (the restaurant specifically presses the button to change the order status). It was not ready so I had to wait another 35 minutes or so before it was. Once I got my food I checked to make sure everything was there, but I was missing one item which was their crispy half duck. I told them and was told the person who wrote the Uber eats order down forgot to write that, which is an honest mistake. So I waited another 15 minutes for that to be made. I’m total 50 minutes wait time after arriving, after being told the order was ready to be picked up. There was only one dine-in family and two other people waiting for pickup orders when I arrived. Each person waited quite awhile per order which means they are only cooking one order at a time rather than doing multiples (affirming they are understaffed in the kitchen as well).

I used to really like this place and have always ordered the same thing- yellow curry with chicken, 5 stars. But over the last 6 months or so the curry has not been spicy. I specify “5 stars” and “extra spicy” and there is still not enough kick to it, and sometimes it’s not spicy at all. Really disappointing especially considering the food isn’t cheap. I wish 5 stars actually meant spicy. It used to.
