I only went through the drive thru. Honestly I was a little skeptical about trying Popeyes in Oneida. Only because every other one I have tried have been horrible. Usually it’s because of old or burnt grease, it just makes the chicken horrible. However this place has had the best chicken by far. I only grabbed a sandwich and some coleslaw because I was skeptical. The chicken was hot and fresh, it didn’t taste like it was cooked in months old grease. However being from the South “Georgia” to be honest. I know chicken and coleslaw, I have also been a cook for years. The chicken was Wonderful but the coleslaw tasted like dough. But if you want good fried chicken its the place to be.

Service here is horrible, Wait for someone to take your order, wait for you food, and then when they give it to you they have entered it incorrectly. Then you wait for 10 minutes for fries before just giving up, which is something that should take 5 minutes to drop, tops. To add insult to injury the soda machine isn’t maintained so you end up with a root beer that is mostly carbonated water. Never step foot in here again, which is a shame because the nuggets were actually really good.

We should have checked our order while at the drive through window. Lesson learned too late to resolve the problem. We paid for fries that were not in the bag, and our 8 piece box of chicken was all wrong! Someone working here must not be able to read or count. When I tried filling out Popeyes’ online form to be contacted about the order I got to the end of the questionnaire TWICE and all my answers were erased. This was all such a negative and frustrating experience and I will never go back or recommend this particular store to anyone.

Ordered on line 20-30 minutes was the timeline I received. The 12 piece meal was missing wings and thighs when I went to pickup my ordered it wasn’t ready I got the right amount of chicken but they were all breasts service was terrible and no chicken ready at dinner time. I don’t plan on revisiting the store I ordered at. I like Popeyes chicken but I think the crew that made KFC close down jumped over to popeyes I paid $65.00 for a terrible experience.

Ordered chicken nuggets and a a shrimp meal. Took 25 minutes to get it and a very rude young man yelling at people as to where to park. Had to go in to get the food and was told that there were only 3 people working.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The only good experience was the young woman who helped actually fill the order. We ordered and were told it would only take 6 minutes for Mac and cheese to finish so we figured we’d wait, had already ordered and all. Twenty minutes later and three cars waiting, another one of the customers comes to our window and tells us that they’re all just standing around and hadn’t even started her order yet, so to go in. Once I got inside she was correct. The receipts were piled up out of the feed, untouched. At least 7 (counted myself) employees with 6 standing around and only one helping the two of us that went in. I waited 20 minutes for what was supposed to be a 6 minute. I wish the utmost best for the young girl who actually worked. I do NOT recommend going here. Wait was terrible, they had almost nothing, had to repeat a dozen times, and they didnt care. They’re ridiculous. Experience may be different inside.

To say that my experience at this location was bad is a complete and total understatement. The service is what made my experience an absolute train wreck. The employees had absolutely zero idea what they were doing, and were extremely distracted as well. We waited for nearly 30 minutes just to get our food. The only reason I am not giving the review 1 star is because I actually did enjoy the food. If you are going to go to Popeye’s, DO NOT go to the one in Oneida

18$ for one person never tasted so bland. The tenders were tasteless. Enough food to barely finish but definitely not worth the price. I could feed 4 people for less than I paid for just myself at locally owned restaurants. They always look so empty and for good reason. Not to mention even local convenience stores possess better quality food cheaper. Heck frozen store bought chicken beats this place. Don’t waste your time or money.
