We were warned by the waitress that food is not authentic which isn’t an overstatement. I would say this is more of a fusion Thai restaurant as both flavors and ingredients in all the dishes weren’t really what you’ll consider as authentic. Still, if you’re looking for some Asian food, this place is good. The dim sum was my favorite.

Came here on 4th of July, the place was crazy busy. They still managed to sit us down, get drinks, and bring food without much wait time. Had the drunken noodles, spicy fried rice, and red curry. Everything was grreat but the spicy fried rice was definitely the winner.

What a great place! We felt lucky to stumble on it while walking in downtown Asheville. The service was wonderful – friendly and fast. The food was outstanding. My son and I shared the crab rangoon for an appetizer – so good! And then shared the Drunken Noodles with Chicken. It was plenty of food for the two of us. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Food was excellent , location is spot on and very happening place. Place is clean , well maintained , restrooms are clean , staffs are attentive, welcoming. Tables and chairs are close to each other but on a downtown location that is expected. We ordered soups , fried rice both Thai and spice one , pad Thai, chicken satay. We liked everything except the pad Thai , we specifically asked for spicy one but we got very sweet pad Thai . Portions are good though, but the whole pad Thai we had to throw it in the trash. Hope management see this and make aware of the customer ordering this pad Thai . We were completely expecting a very good pad Thai.

Upon arrival, I did a quick scan of what everyone was eating. I saw a lot of stir fry rice options which is not my favorite. I wanted a lunch special that was not friend rice, and chose the basil with chicken. Lots of crisp veggies cooked to perfection. (Chef’s kiss! ) Sauce was full of flavor. Crispy rolls were not overdone. The server was charming and friendly. Bathrooms very clean. We made a great memory here.

Suwana’s Thai Orchid restaurant is in downtown Asheville across from the Marriott AC where there is a parking garage. There is also a nearby parking lot so parking which can be sometimes challenging, was easy tonight.
