This is a true family restaurant, a real “mom & pop”, they couldn’t be more lovely, and the food couldn’t be more delicious. The husband is front of the house, whose joyous spirit fills the room. The wife is the chef, and she is a culinary genius. This place is a find. I can’t recommend this place more highly.

Been trying to get here for a while but I’m so happy we finally made it. A small restaurant ran by husband and wife team that gives you some authentic home cooking from Syria. We tried dishes like the shish barak (dough balls in warm yoghurt) oozi rice in a filo dough ball and many others. I certainly recommend you try , the flavors are unique and not the same as Lebanese cuisines common in the area. You will truly enjoy this place. Easy five star.

Wow, this food was incredible. Highly recommend for Syrian food. I didn’t think one could make rice taste so good. The chicken was fall off the bone and the eggplant dip (sorry I’m white ) was amazing.

LOVED IT! Best Syrian food in Michigan. Really well run, kindest owners and the food was out of this world. No matter what you decide to order, you will like it. Not expensive, in fact every penny was worth it at the end.

Food was okay, nothing too special. The best thing we got were the meat pies. We got a mix grill but the meat kafta was raw so we sent it back. The baba ganough had too many diced vegetables in it which is not normally how I’ve had it served. This restaurant charges a service fee of 3$/per customer to dine in which is pretty nuts. We were likely served by the owner and voiced our displeasure but they didn’t seem to care.

Although the food was very good I have issues with their business practices. First, we were brought 2 bottles of water we didn’t ask for. Next was a $6 service fee. Lastly, I grabbed a 2 slice package of ice cream from the freezer. When I paid the bill he demanded $52. I thought it was some pretty expensive ice cream but when I checked the receipt the bill was under $50!

Excellent authentic Syrian food. The restaurant is spotless, I ordered the chicken with salad. The marinated chicken cubes (breast meat) were cooked to perfection. Tender and juicy. The salad looked like all of the veggies were just cut. Looking forward to trying other dishes. UPDATE: They now have a lunch menu. Salad, hummus, rice and choice of beef/chicken shwarma, kafta and beef kabobs. Excellent value for $9.95
