The chef/owner here is PHENOMENAL at what he does. Easily the best Jamaican food we’ve had in the entire Atlanta area!!

The best hands down! I ordered the oxtail plate, and I am very pleased. The food is flavorful & delicious! I’ve tried other Jamaican restaurants in the area & Scotchies is the best hands down! Customer service was also an A+. Very friendly staff, and the owner is a very pleasant and friendly guy. My new favorite place to eat for sure!

Ok, this place needs neon sign! This place has some of the BEST Jamaican food I’ve ever had. It’s a small quaint place that’s worth the stop. Get it to go or dine in on a sunny day. Staff is friendly and food is authentic. Deliciously well seasoned. I will DEFINITELY be back! The owner came from behind the counter and spent time with me to go over the menu! Who does that?! Love this place.

Had the brown stewed chicken and it was soooooo good. You can tell Kevin puts his soul in his cooking. I was debating how spicy I wanted it, and he was so nice by letting me try my chicken before I left to make sure I was ok with the spice level. We will definitely be back.

This was my first visit to Scotchies and I wasn’t sure what to expect. It continues to pop up as a top rated restaurant. We decided to go den grab dinner. We ordered the jerk chicken and the garlic shrimp. We were suggested mild and that was a great suggestion. It was still spicy with fantastic flavor. The entrees were served with cabbage, rice and a plantain. The food was served quick and did not disappoint.

This place is AMAZING, if you enjoy true authentic Caribbean food this is the place to come to. I had the oxtails and truffle Mac and cheese…the flavor was so good and rich. I told the owner all I needed was the ocean. I will visit this place very often.

My liquor store had Scotchie’s cater a rum tasting. We chose mildly spiced Jerk Chicken with Cabbage, Plantains and Rice and Peas. Everyone loved the food and it really made the evening special. The food was fresh and hot exactly when I asked for it and was a great value. I took leftovers home to my wife and kids and they loved them as well. Definitely recommend!

The food is ok. I’ve definitely been able to find better Jamaican food for a better price in and around ATL but I guess this’ll work if you’re in a pickle.

My friend has brought me food from Scotchies on multiple occasions and I have always been totally blown away. I’m pescatarian and from Deep South Georgia so I had no idea just how much food I could actually eat here! The rice and beans are mind blowing. I have NEVER tasted rice and beans like this. Being from the south, almost every vegetable or side dish has meat in it, meat broth, bullion, stock, etc. so I couldn’t believe I could safely eat this and it be so amazing! The cabbage is insanely delicious too! I order the garlic shrimp mean plus an extra side or rice and beans and cabbage. The flavor is so rich and spicy, plus the shrimp is cooked to utter perfection. I can’t wait till the owner has the grill set up to eat Mediterranean sea bass! The restaurant itself is a little hole in the wall, but behind those doors, heavenly paradise awaits your palate!!
