Okay, so ! My husband and our friend decided we are coming here today for lunch. They haven’t been here in 20 years they say. I’m thinking of some fAncy new place…we walk in…and the place is popping. Super friendly staff, super cool place. Great food. We had tostadas, burger, and smothered burrito plus chips and salsa and queso. I’m definitely coming back!

The food was amazing. We heard from a friend to check out. We do not not live close. So we traveled a bit for you guys. Waitress bar tender. She would wait on people multiple times. But not us. Still going eat. I know you guys get busy. Bar is not that busy. Had to holler at her to get a drink. Don’t like to do that. She was rude asking about the green chili. She said I don’t know I just got here. Really how long how u worked here. I’m sorry want be back. I think it was the owner sweet and compassionate. But I can’t recommend you to my friends. So sad good chili take it as you will.

I’ve been twice. The beer was extra cold but the person that appears to be lead server/bar tender is rude. Burrito was big and cheap but not tastey at all. It was served in less than 3 minutes from ordering which is not a great sign. They pride themselves on famous green chili, but its near flavorless. The pork cuts in it are excessively large (could be a bonus) but very dry. The juice was pure liquid, not thickened at all so the burrito was served already a gluey melting soggy mess. The insides (ground beef and beans) were poorly seasoned and not fresh. I love a dive bar and no fuss food, but did not enjoy.

Back in 1978, a short while after it opened, Brewery Bar II had great Bloody Marys and Margaritas, good spicy Mexican food, a mainly hard-working clientele and great service. Must have been there 10 times in the two years I lived nearby. Always good. Forty-five years later, I’m guessing it didn’t change that much.

Always looking for a nice authentic food place. This was not it. Unfortunately the food was disgusting. Unseasoned ground beef stuffed in a hard shell, buried under a mountain of lettuce, few chunks of tomatoes and shredded generic cheese. None was in the taco just on top. Could not eat more than two bites. My friend’s food looked like it was frozen and warmed up soaked in liquid (not sauce) liquid. Not good.Atmosphere was weird. Was eating at 1pm and there was already drunk people climbing on bar.

A long time family favorite. This place has been here for years. The green chile is top notch. I recommend the hot if you’re not a wimp. However be warned it is spicy. I took some home because it’s so good. So my family does somebody weekly reunions to get together stay connected. This was the suggestion for last week. Never a bad choice. So we arrived about 6:30 p.m. save it immediately the service was on it. Water chips drink almost instantly. The food was so fast we didn’t have much time to talk. However we were unrushed and so we caught up. Highly recommend this over the newer chains located closer to home having a ranch area. Just less hype and the food that launched the other more popular locations.

I have loved their smothered burritos for years. The green Chile is pretty awesome and spicy, I usually get mine Christmas style, red and green Chile mix.

There’s no way the “spicy” is actually spicy my tastebuds got no kick of anything and it was supposed to be “hot”. It was mild if anything, it was very flavorful but there’s no spice lol. Service was exceptional!

This restaurant was recommended to me and I was told I should order the crispy Chile rellano with half and half sauce so that’s what I did. I order the #1 with a beef burrito. The chili sauce was good, a little spicy, but oh so good! I could have ate 2 (maybe 3) of the rellanos and been so happy. The flavor and crispness was spot on. I wasn’t even able to eat all my food, probably because I chowed down on chips and salsa. I definitely recommend this meal!!

The food is gross, service was ok. Taco house is better. Really bad food and very expensive for what you get.
