Our most frequented restaurant in New Hope, and with great reason. Service is always top-notch, warm and welcoming. The setting is lovely. And the food…. My goodness….

Got an invite from my sister and her husband to have dinner at a new Italian restaurant in New Hope and jumped at it. Cucina is just a few blocks from the river right by the train station. There is no parking lot, so street parking only. (DO NOT PARK IN THE TRAIN STATION $26 TO START AND IT GOES UP FROM THERE). The restaurant is a little on the small size so there are limited tables but comfortable nonetheless. The menu has a nice variety of food, their salads were amazing! The apps and entrees we had were all equally delicious, the restaurant is BYOB and the price is reasonable for the area and food you get.

Sam and Colleen were terrific hosts. We didn’t have a reservation, but we were seated immediately at the bar (which had a great viee into all the action in the kitchen). Scratch cooking at it’s finest with homemade pastas, desserts, great service. Limited menu due to pandemic supply didn’t make for a bad experience. We’d be back again.

Fantastic dinner and wonderful hospitality. We told them in advance we’d be arriving late and they were happy to serve us even right at closing time. The staff was very friendly and happy to answer all our questions and chat a bit. And the food was amazing!!! We enjoyed the winter salad with pomegranates, fresh wine vinaigrette, pecans and gorgonzola. The meal was spaced out so we had plenty of time to enjoy and talk over our food. The meatballs and saccatini were also scrumptious. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing food, nice romantic ambiance. Scallops are ridiculously good, and the lobster ravioli (pictured here). Chef comes out to each table to chat, which was nice since there were some great subtleties and flavors that we enjoyed discussing with him. Very warm, friendly family establishment. Also, salad was delicious and HUGE for sharing. Big plus for veggie fans like us

Amazing food, it’s inspired and delicious. If you can meet the chef your night will be made. Forget coming again I would live in the dining room for eternity

The food was good but nothing special. This is not the best Italian food ever like some reviewers stated. The lobster ravioli was NOT home made. These are the same you can buy at Wegmans. They are 2-tone color, my wife bought the same ones before. The fiery shrimp were over cooked and very hard. Were not boiled in the sauce, pre-boiled then tossed in the sauce. Ran out of the rigatoni Bolognese, at 7pm, really, that is unheard of. Had the porkchop, it was very good. Dessert was not homemade either, lemon cake that came from Sysco. Had the same one before at another restaurant. Waitress was good but was rushed asked if we wanted dessert but had to stop her to ask for coffee. New place was loud, very loud. Good food, but average, not what I expected.

Dinner was enjoyable, service was good. The location of our table was the reason for a three stars rating. When you walk into the restaurant you are in the dining area, we had people standing close to our table while they waited to be seated, which was uncomfortable for us. I would recommend asking for a table in the second dining room.
