A small place that sits at least 12 guests, but they have some space to set up one or two more tables that can sit 4 per table.

This is authentic African foods. The restaurant has an alternate menu of grilled and fried fish and chicken. Eru&Fufu, boiled and fried plantain, goat stew, cassava leaves&rice. Sides include spinach&collard mix, Jellof rice, black beans, Bobolo, and more options.

Oh my lord. I was desperately seeking Egusi and didn’t want to drive too far so I searched and found this diamond in the rough. I ended up ordering the Curry Goat Stew and decided to taste it in my car. WHY OH WHY did I do that. I ended up going back into the restaurant to enjoy my meal with a side of spinach and that truly delicious ginger and honey drink.

The fried whiting was seasoned to perfection. The Mac-n- cheese was really cheesy. The greens and spinach was good. I wish the jollof rice was spicy. It was ok at best. If the rice was spicy and had some heat, l would have given them 5 stars. If the owner is reading this can you guys make the rice SPICY?

Stopped by this black owned business this past Saturday and wanted to try their macaroni and cheese but they had just sold out so I ordered white rice (which they consider a side whereas other restaurants just give it to you for free), collard greens which were very well seasoned and delicious…along with their version of chopped steak called Soya which I never heard of before but I wanted to try something new…although it had a nice spicy flavor, unfortunately, most of the Soya was tough and chewy…there were even pieces of pure fat that were totally inedible. I don’t know if they need to tenderize the meat better or get a better cut of meat altogether but if thats how Soya is supposed to be, then I feel let down. To recap, I paid $25 for rice and collard greens which were very good and the portions were big enough for dinner the next day but I had to make some fried chicken because the Soya was tooooo tough causing my mouth to get tired from all the extra chewing!! I’ll still go back and try other dishes…just not the Soya.

Blessed Hands Cuisine was born in a home kitchen in 2012, on a small-scale basis catering for small events for family and friends. Picked for you. Eru · Soups. Eru. Stewed with water leaf or spinach, crayfish, beef cowskin, and smoked fish. While visiting Upper Marlboro I searched for African food and stumbled upon this wonderful place. The eru and fufu I had were spicy and delicious. I ate the entire meal in my car driving home and wish I had two. It’s a gem… I will gladly drive an hour to visit it again. I’m so sorry I forgot to take a picture of my meal but trust me it was delicious…Must visit

The food and customer service are A1. I’ve gotten casava leaf and egusi soup, both pretty tasty, the food is packaged in tuppleware.. black circular bowl with clear plastic lid. The workers are very friendly, they make you feel like you’re eating with family. Nice place. Maybe it’s more of a carry out spot than somewhere you sit and eat but you can still choose to dine in. It’s local and good. I’m going there in a bit to get some food, again.
